The final Nurarihyon chapter having 64 pages is a good amount to finish the battle and have a denouement to wrap things up. IMO Shiibashi seems like the type to work better with more pages.

Also in case anyone is interested, Cross Manage (a sports/rom com one-shot that ran earlier this year) was just recently translated, and boy it's a good one. Would be nice to see that become a series. With the success that sports series have shown recently and Jump's current affinity for serializing romcoms I don't think its serialization is out of the question.
I also just read Cross Manage and really enjoyed it. I haven't been excited about a new Jump manga in a long time, so I would really love it if this got a full serialization.

i thought it was nice to with the open ending, but can't imagine a longer series out of it. i liked how he changed his mind and the idea of a better future for him, but turning it into a weekly series would probably make this story into a typical "we want to win the championship together" manga. if he can archieve more of these slice of life parts without coming too generic/typical, then i'm all in!

I agree, the concept isn't exactly destined to be an epic, 300 chapter blockbuster. But in the hands of a competent writer, the sports, romance, school life, and comedy elements could be fleshed out into an enjoyable short to mid length series IMO. Slowing it down to Adachi level slice-of-life would great, but somehow, I'm not sure Jump readers would put up with that.

That can mean who will end next... not happy with the ending of pajama's but it was expected.

Is that the final list of special chapters, could it have new series chapters as well?

I'm not certain, but it should be possible that new series that start up between now and then could have special chapters, (new series should not be starting any earlier than Issue #41).

Usually Jump NEXT! will contain 6 or 8 special chapters from series' from the main magazine. Having only 4 chapters is definitely unusual so there should be more.

But than again, Jump NEXT! has never had an Autumn edition before so they could be trying out something different.

That's really early. Have we ever had Jump covers being released on the net this early before??

    Jump NEXT! Autumn Preview

    Colour: Nurarihyon no Mago
Special Chapters: Nisekoi, Haikyuu!!, PSI Kusuo Saiki, Assassination Classroom

The preview does not specify what type of colour (Lead CP, Center or Ending CP) that Nurarihyon no Mago will have next Issue but it will probably be a Center Colour. It also does not specify how many pages it will be.

Information on oneshots will be released in later issues of Weekly Shonen Jump.

For the past 2 Issues the Author of Kurogane has had a page seeking assisstants. With this weeks ranking and the fact that he wouldn't be seeking assisstants if he was cancelled leads me to believe that he won't be cancelled when the next lot of series' ends.

So Pajama is back on the bottom, it got a little breath before being pushed back. It looks like bulge isn't going to recover, I enjoyed most of it, but I'd rather have Pajama stay instead of it.

Surprising to see Reborn so high. O_o

Re: Weekly Shonen Jump [2012] - Discussion and TOC Talk

it's really sad for pajama. koisome wasn't placed that beek this week, in regard that it looks like more people vote for it than for bleach, beelzebub, medaka and even gintama.

bleach was always kinda low, even beelzebub "tanked" after the hilda arc to the bottom. medaka has its high and downs but is stuck currently in a zenkichi arc, which was never well received. gintama looks like to feel wrath of the fans, somehow like bleach did. is the story that different from what people want to see or why does gintama ranks so poorly recently?

it's funny to see the big 4 of the new kind so high with nisekoi, assassin, hq!! and psi all in the top 5.

Assassination Classroom in second again? Wow they're really advertising it like crazy, I hope that's a good sign. The series deserves some good rankings~

I may repeat myself but Nisekoi at 2nd place and Haikyuu at fourth is just awesome, especially happy for Nisekoi. At this point it seems safe to say that the series will be pretty successful.

So is this a sign of popularity that Assassination Classroom has not one, but actually four doujinshi selling at Comiket this weekend? I recounted it and yeah, four different circles are selling them.

Considering it started a month ago I say that's impressive. Though of course, whether it survives is up to Jump's readership. I'm glad Jump's editors are pimping it though. That makes me happy.

Disagree. The highest Beelzebub has been this year was when Futaba was introduced, it ranked third. During the Hilda arc it stayed in the middle, around 9th place.

    Nisekoi and Reborn are 2nd & 3rd

    Bleach in the bottom 5

So am guessing will be seeing chapters later today.
