Anyone know where Kurogane is placed this week? I'd like to know.
Not too happy about Bleach's ranking but I am happy for Gintama. As for OP being below top 3, the chapter -8 ago was pretty boring IMO.
Wish that Beelzebub ranked higher. Shonen jump Alpha should do a TOC lol. Even if its just 5/6 mangas only.
BTW isn't the TOC up to chance? Since most readers vote but only a certain number of them is counted? Say if the Shonen Jump people picked out 1000 votes that had HXH as their rank 1 on 700 of them. That confirms HXH as Rank 1 for that week right? There is also the votes other mangas get in the reader's top 3. Say most people pick OP as their 2nd choice. It gets 2nd right? Same for 3rd place.
Japanese are really mysterious, putting one of Punk Hazard chapter after the first color page when Mermaid island never did.
I guess it's time to recatch to Gintama.
@Drmke I think it is Ohana mistake, it happens quite often a serie miss in his posts
I'm curious to see its place too since it seems new series are doing good compare to veteran one for once.
I am aware but I still like seeing the completed ToC. Where color pages are placed can still be interesting.
Cover Jump #23
cool toc. very glad Gintama is 1st. hoping it keeps it's place in the top 3
Interesting TOC. I dunno the last time One Piece got that low. I don't think it's since that one time the manuscript got given in late and it was put really low because of it.
Gintama makes sense, as you guys said. Pakky looks like it's not gonna last.
As for how long Bleach is gonna last, realize that the editorsmay try to get him to end it faster than he wants, to keep the author's reputation up and keep the series from declining and encourage a new series by the author. But Kubo can probably do what he wants at this point. And it's lost its luster, and isn't really going to be increasing unless Kubo really comes up with an interesting plot. That or he goes a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure route and just changes the main character and the story.
Awesome, Gintama's first. This arc was epic so it makes sense. I'm kind of surprised One Piece is out of the top 3 but that probably won't last.
Also glad that Nisekoi is still doing good in the TOC, I'm loving the series right now.
As for all the Bleach talk, I doubt Jump is going to force Bleach to end unless it drops really low (both in TOC and volume sales). Even if it does, they'll probably have hope he can pick it up or something. Though I'd rather have it end, stretching out a series for too long isn't good and imo Bleach is already boring enough.
Bleach is too good to end. Sales are the most important thing about a WSJ Manga and you all know how Bleach is doing in that category.. Seeing it that low while the new arc has just been epic until now makes me sad :'(
Gintama.. I didn't really find this manga attractive, the first episodes bored me as hell. Should I catch up ?
One Piece being 4th.. When was the last time that it wasn't in the Top 3 ?
Naruto.. Now i don't understand.. This whole war is the biggest mess I've ever seen in a manga yet but it gets such high ranks..

Gintama is more interesting than Bleach. Especially the current arc; every chapter is hands down amazing. Also, you never know, Kubo wished for Bleach to stay at least 10 more years, but it has now enter its final arc. I agree with Kewl, the editors might've tried to get him to end it faster for a new series.
Nope. Ending a serie who is sure to doing well in terms of sales faster than it would have just because they count on new series which are not sure to be as good in sales as the previous manga is a pretty, sorry for the word, stupid decision. Like.. Really. It's a bad business move. And we all know WSJ is all about business
So Gintama is that good huh ?
