Nice to see Haikyu doing so well...

This is imo the best sports manga WSJ is serving since ES21... It is really interesting at this moment and I am not surprised by its ratings. Volleyball is an interesting sports.

It is nice to see that Toriko and Gintama beat OP and naruto. It rarely happens but I can understand OP's "bad" ranking. The current arc doesn't make me enthusiastic again
The biggest virtue is to support these Seven Deadly Sins in their fight!!!

I agree, HQ is the first sports series in a while that I've actually wanted to see stick around.

It doesn't entirely fit Furudate's style, but it's been enjoyable so far.

Those ranks don't take into account color pages and non-rankings and stuff, it look like.

Me too. Pakki was really a fun series. I hope they give the author a new chance at Saikyo Jump, at least.

The first volume Nisekoi sold out off stock on Amazon several hours after it was officially released and won't have be in stock again for another 1-4 weeks.

I just pre-ordered two copies Nisekoi and the new Jump Next! from Kinokuniya. Can't wait to read them.

Bleach had the same amount of pages this week that it has had ever since this arc started (17), the only difference this week was that Kubo "wasted" two pages on a huge double spread (which obviously counts as two pages). So it's the same amount. The only exceptions are when he gets color pages.

Re: Weekly Shonen Jump [2012] - Discussion and TOC Talk

There has been some speculation that Aimoto Shou (Hokenshitsu no Shinigami/Muddy) might be starting a new series some time later this year.

Speculation came about several hours ago when she posted on her twitter account that she finished her rough draft. She did not say what the draft was for.

    -----------------------------------------------------

Many Japanese people have been reporting on twitter and blogs that there were very few or no copies of Nisekoi vol.1 left when they went to buy a copy from a bookstore.

It looks like Murata Yuusuke (illustrator of Eyeshield 21) has moved to Bessatsu Shonen Champion (new monthly shonen magazine in Akita Shoten).

    That is slightly unexpected

Will he be doing a yanki manga? Or will he do martial arts

It's not something unbelievable for him to do another project not under Shueisha's wing.

Well, they love their yankees at Akita Shonen, don't they.

Not unbelievable to leave Shueisha; seeing him go to a new magazine by a second tier, slightly atavistic publisher is still a minor surprise.

And yes, they sure do love their yanki. I sometimes wonder if Shounen Champion has realized the 90's are over.
