I don't know about him moving out the way. If he had, wouldn't he not have taken any damage? Given the range he was shown absorbing reishi from, I think it's possible that Kirge absorbed most of it before the swing fully hit him.

Why is Ichigo wasting time? Can't he just bankai and get this fight over with? It's not like his bankai will be absored since his manifests within Ichigo, for the most part.

It looked liked Ivan could have absorbed Ichigo's bankai judging from the fact that his armor started to deteriorate, but Ichigo shattered the trap before it could happen. Things might not go the same way twice. It's still probably safer not to use it if it's not necessary.

If anything I'd say he's making the most his time. So far Ichigo has gained a lot of info about Vandenreich's forces, knowledge, and goals by dragging this fight out and getting Kirge to boast.

Ayon was quite strong actually. It took Yamamoto three hits to kill that freaking pet. We all know that Yamamoto would one shot a lot of the captains so that beast is at least mid captain level. Not to mention how ridiculously he raped the Vice Captains. A very few captains would be able to one shot them that easy IMO.

That beast will fodderized Kirge. Just wait.

i think Ayon is a complete waste of Time in this case, what is it goin to do to a guy who jus dodged Ichigo's GT point blank, even if he's not in bankai mode thats more a feat than defeating Ayon will be imo

I think that too, 'cause I don't like the idea of the Tres Bestias getting beated again. If Kirge is not destroyed, at least Ayon will leave him on his knees, just for Ichigo to finish the job.

There's a pretty good chance that Ayon is captain-class but even then Kirge had the upper hand against shikai Ichigo who is arguably stronger than mid-tier captains. If Kirge gets defeated by Ayon, it will be a real blow to threat level of the new enemies, in that sense I think Ayon will fulfill the role of a plot device who rescues Ichigo from defeat and adds to the fearsomeness of the enemy by being utterly defeated. I don't see how Ichigo will defeat Kirge without bankai though, perhaps it will give Urahara the opportunity to interfere and show some of his abilities.

That could definitely be argued.
We know that a fighter's endurance/life is equal to their SP. So the harder you are to kill, the stronger you techinically are.

However, i do not think allon is able to beat any of the captains. He is strong, but not that strong. I think allon will put up a good fight against this guy, but he won't win. Though I also believe the quincy may not be able to beat allon either

Why are you complaining about the best part of this arc? Its been forever since Ichigo's shikai was relevant, I am enjoying seeing him fight like an actual captain class shinigami for once, its not like Kirge is giving Ichigo any real trouble so far so it would be stupid for Ichigo to start spamming his bankai. I had a few years of continuous bankai Ichigo and he wasn't that cool, I don't want to see him again for a very long time.

well you shall prepare for another round of full-time bankai period. that period started in hm, and now guess where ichigo is
another note: kubo treats hollows better than shinigamis. once a hollow dies it may return back.
