- Rosemary before her awakening will be considered in this fight, they'll both fight as claymores. The one who is forced to awaken loses.

Rosemary, because she is nr 1 and irene nr 2, you might say rosemary is also a nr 2, but the only reason for that is because of teresa.
Everyone would get kicked off their nr 1 position if teresa came along. for example if isley was nr 1 at the time, he would get demoted too.

Well, Irene was #2 behind Teresa too (and then #3 behind Priscilla), so she's not much different from Rosemary in that regard.

I have always thought Irene is actually a No.1 material and her technique Quicksword is insanely powerful. Irene is totally overshadowed by uber monsters like Teresa and Priscilla. I am certain that with Irene's stats and her Quicksword technique, if she exists in a different generation, then she would have been a No.1. No many people or techniques can counter the Quicksword. Imo, I think Irene's Quicksword can fair pretty well against Claymore Hysteria's Elegant Step and Claymore Cassandra's Dust Eater. With that said, even if we assume Rosemary's stats are a little better than Irene's unless she is also specialized in speed technique or a super sensor, I don't see her winning against Irene. Irene would just go Quicksword and Rosemary wouldn't know what cut her down. Quicksword FTW!
