It's not a plot-hole. It's simply another hint that the Doc is trying to heal Shioon and not let the SUC know. Even the "ball" he put into Shioon's mouth to keep him shout, I believe it's so that that idiotic brat doesn't shout some nonsense while the Doctor operates on him to restore his ki centers and get discovered by Cool Guy. Sure, the Doc is using SUC, but I believe the other way around isn't exactly true, since SUC members have been shown SEVERLY ADDICTED to whatever drug that guy prepared. I'm pretty sure there are other aftereffects that the SUC isn't aware of. Dunno, maybe mine is just wishful thinking, but one thing's for sure: Shioon can't make any real progress without his ki centers being restored, and Sera-noona was also aware that the matter was in the Doc's hands... and she trusted the guy would be able to heal Shioon. So yeah, I'm still betting on the guy!

P.S. I loved this chapter. I really don't understand why so many people hate it.

ok is not a plot hole yet but if the doc was a good guy how did he know about shioon's mother there is only one reason he is the one who hurt her and also I love this chapter too in funny way (like shioon get Kidnap like moron ) I just stopped take it seriously for long time

My best gamble is who gives most, get served first, what do you guys think?
If he would offer to pay 3 times as much as S.U.C. do? hmmm?
If doc was a good man, why put a trap in Shioon's mounth... ?

I don't think shioon will be that smart and the SUC is all over the place it's too late to back out now

Gyu Bum probably followed shwoon and he will help him out from the doctor

it is possible since shioon have a trace device in his cell phone that's the only way because shioon was moved out while he baste out so no one have no idea were shioon is if Gyu Bum didn't do as shioon commanded and followed him he should see the SUC force around the place or see shioon moving him inside while he baste out so he should crash to the party if he is there

Shiwoon did have that one pill left right? So... who knows, maybe he took it right before? Lets hope....
That way maybe something unexpected happens and he'll save himself like a true bwass.

the only way i see out of this is he took his last pill to save his self since he was talking about a fair fight with cool guy maybe he was stalling for it to active well anyway i hope this happens so i can see the doc get punched in the face

I can't see the Doc being a good guy, remember he is from a clan that was destoryed 30 years ago or something. They were probably destroyed by the Alliance and we know the SUC is against the Alliance, who better to side with than them?

Hmm Well first, im gunna go with group opinion on this, and Gyubum will save the day. We saw that he looked anxious leaving him at the car, we can hope he followed him. And the doc unfortunantly is not going to save his ki center. I mean its one thing to put on a show infront of cool guy, but even in private he still says things like become my medicine! So no hope for him, but lastly the third option is shioon hulks out on black origin threshold and whoops some ass finally. Maybe he will self heal his ki center if that happens?

i hope some people are right and the doc is tricking the cool guy and he will restore shwoons ki. but it looks unlikely i think somehow shwoon will do it on his own maybe with him on the verge of dying from having is blood taken his healing ability will go crazy to keep him from dieing and it heals his ki center.

True, Shioon going "black" because of rage is also a possibility to save himself, maybe even if he didn't take the pill beforehand. With that much power Coolguy will become a joke, and probably the mad doc too. Hell, he will probably kill the doc.
Then it will be probably be Shioon vs Gyu Bum, since after going "black" it's nearly impossible to stop oneself. Goomoonryoung couldn't, Shioon won't either.

Btw I still like this manga, much more than most of the famous c**p out there (Naruto, I'm looking at you).

I haven't lost interest. I was weighing It all out for Shioon recently.
1) GMR decimates his ki center and leves him for dead.
2) He is constantly a target of Murim and can't fight.
3) Getting the pill gives him the chance to fight but his mom gets caught up in a SUC advance

4) Disturbed at the fact it's HIS fault she got hurt he becomes more depressed
5) He discovers that GMR is really a bad guy and it disturbs him even more
6) Arriving back at Head Quarters he becomes a hostage (very reminiscent of the dead MAA dude) again its HIS fult because he is weak

4,5 & 6 all happened within a week from one another.

Dependent upon sneaking and hiding information from the Sunwoo clan. He can't go to Jinie, Ji-Gun, Elder Kwon, Elder Jang, Ha-Ill, Sera, or anyone he knows. How many of you have known someone drug dependent? They will sell there unborn children and their mother at the same time to get their fix. Shioon is now screwed.

So why did the author show us the doctor risk his reputation to get high medical equipment. 1) he now had an interesting ingredient to try new combinations with or 2) he actually went to work fixing/identifying a cure for Shioon.

We at least most of us thought the "good" doc would cure him. However now we see the crazy resurrection of Shiho doc want more blood. And then we find out hobo doc is actually a royal jack hole. Or at least that is the perception he is carrying. Do we know for sure he is a jack hole? 1) They might have contacted him 2) but I am pretty sure the doc did why? What is the author trying to tell us?

There are only a few scenarios I can think of. 1) Shioon is pissed about the attack and "truth" of who did the attack. ( it is possible that he and Sera have an open line of communication and he found out through her). It is also possible he did cause the attack on Shioons mom but told Sera about it and how to keep her alive. But because he is pissed he activates BOT which is something we don't know if he needs ki for 2) Fox guy comes and saves him by ripping apart the SUC fortress. Which would also be interesting if GyumBum gets beat by one of he other captains. I don't think that cool guy is the only person there pulling "security". 3) Sera pulls her strings together and old lady yoda comes and helps save the day. 4) the doc is the lovable double double agent (a lot like Snape). He did find a cure for his ki center but his methods are harsh 5) Shioon wakes up and Mamungi saved him from hobo doc. He wanted to repay cutie pie after all because he doesn't want to be hated 6) ............idk and I don't think any of these are correct. Shoot maybe this is where Sosul will make her glorious reappearance.

I am wondering why the doc created such a situation. Shiwoon already accepted to offer his blood in exchange for pills. Give Shiwoon 3-4 pills and he gonna call in few days again.
But right now the doc even said that he attacked his mon and has connection to S.U.C. He is making a emeny of Shiwoon on his own. But for purpose? Does he want more than just Shiwoon's blood? Maybe he wants Shiwoon as guinea pig...
Neverless, there is no way he can let Shiwoon go just like that.

Am i the only one who thinks the one who's gonna save Shioon will be Elder Kwon ? I think he's gonna be the one who'll find and save him . For some time now Kwon has been suspicious of Shioon . As well we saw he figured something has changed in Shioon , seeing him always tired and absent minded and now, with this new discovery about those SUC guys using drugs so that they can fight in the Murim world , there's no way that he didn't find suspicious the fact that Shioon fought Cool Guy and he was using Ki . Since i'm sure he knows his Ki center is shattered for sure then this should ring a bell right . So upon finding that out he'll try contacting Shioon and then he'll find out from Gyu-Bum that Shioon disappeared and that will make him real mad .

I can't wait to see him completely pissed of and eradicating some SUC bastards

@matzik1212: I would hope for no greater thing than to have Shioon more indebted to Kwon. However I don't believe that it will happen. My reasoning is strictly the fact that Shioon is already losing consciousness because of the doc who wants to cut him up. And Kwon is still at Head Quarters after the "normal" SUC guys died. Someone has to know where Shioon is and how to get there.

This next week is going to be torture for me.

shwoon has been though hell wonder how much time has passed since he found out about his mom. combine that with being captured and look pathetic vs smug face, seeing his master in the suc database like if he is working with them and now this. i think he will lose it and somehow use the black threshold tech. remember when he learned about his mother when he was going back to the suc compound he made the crazy face and gym-bum got scarred and he said it reminded him of 9ad the night he went crazy using the tech. i dont know how but i think he will use it and it maybe the key to healing his ki center maybe it will also bust his healing ability.

OMG, Shi-Woon is in hella trouble. He is about to die, of course it wont happen. Doc always looked suspicious. As the reasons LoS pointed out, chances of him being a bad person weighs more than being a good. I cannot dismiss the possibility of this is a an act as well - highly unlikely. But, infuriating Sho-Woon, driving him to a corner and at a point of utter desperation could be play. May be a method to somehow help him restore his Ki-centers or at least make some progress. Like I said earlier, a very unlikely scenario.

the one giving pills to SUC is the doc and he is using the one moon school for it and i think the doc knows that he can use the SUC underlings for experiment thats why the captured SUC underlings die because they can't control the sudden burst of KI on their bodies (i think that is the side effects) but sHioon can withstand those

Yeah but didn't you already see him . If Elder Kwon wants to he can't get there faster than a car so that's not a problem I just have this feeling that he'll contact Gyu-Bum after all this and when he finds out Shioon's missing i don't think he'll just say "Go right now and find the head " , he'll head out as well without a doubt . Oh but i'm not saying Gyu Bum won't search for Shioon it's just that i'm hoping Kwon will rescue him

I hope this is some elaborate plan that Sera came up with to fix Shioon's ki center. Maybe she talked to the doc before hand and struck a deal with him and he is just playing a role. Who knows what will happen right now, shit just got real.
