Heh, typical Natsu. Welp, he can kiss his chance goodbye at fighting in the tournament tomorrow. Not because he'll get his ass handed to Genma, but because Makarov will hand his ass on a silver platter while apologizing profusedly to Genma. I think Genma will just let them go and not report the situation to the committee simply because he'd rather solve it through the tournament and because he respects Makarov's strength and thus wouldn't dare go against him unless he had to.

Genma seems to be the type of person to respect strength (much like the Raikage) so, he will only admit his mistakes if FT shows the power of friendship (bleh, I know but it's Mashima's theme, so deal with it) to him.

EDIT: Please tell me that Zentopia incident is not from the anime. Otherwise, I think I'm gonna have to watch the fillers (not that I mind). Feels like a pretty dirty way to promote the new filler arc. I think I also see that floating castle-thingie from the new opening.

We now have some new information...

- The 5th member is Minerva
- The 12 keys open the "Gate to changing the world"
- Something about the Zentopia incident

Now, they managed to make Yukino really important to the plot...
Natsu care about her, so I doubt she would die...

So far, this manga has been death-free, and I can't see it starting with Yukino...

I haven't seen the filler myself, but it does look like this could be it...
Although, the fillers take place between their awakening and the tournament...

There was no mention of this anywhere in the manga before, so it would be really strange if suddenly, the manga mention a full arc that wasn't even there to begin with...

I guess, I'll have to watch the filler now...

I don't understand. Zeref Said there are no keys or its just a myth, so did he mean the keys are not necessarily to awake him, but they are needed to change the world ???

Also in the S-Class arc. Lucy had 9 keys in the middle she got the 10th also, so what keys did HADES collect -_-

Even if it did work. This means its not in Zeref hand to change the world, or he can't open the portal to change the world even if he is awake.....

I guess HADES did not know shit about what he was doing.

I don't think the fight will actually start between SABERTOOTH master and Natsu it will be interrupted by Makarov I'm sure, or it might starts but won't finish. Yukino probably was on her way to tell Fairy Tail that Natsu is about to do something stupid....

I knew for sure natsu was bound to do something reckless but seeing him kick around sabertooths members was awesome.
This can only end badly though... I have a feeling the stronger mages aren't just going to let him walk in and fight a fair fight. I could be wrong though.

This can only end badly though... I have a feeling the stronger mages aren't just going to let him walk in and fight a fair fight. I could be wrong though.

I honestly think they will the way the 2 DS questioned their master's actions and all. And the guy seems like he wouldn't turn down a challeng so easily. But yes I really loved that entrance. What a nice twist, just pulled me head first into this arc. :P

That must have been the stupidest thing anyone could do. You don't just see something you don't like happen to completely unrelated person and you go wage war with another guild. You can't be the all-knowing protector of justice.

On the other hand, it is completely in-character for Natsu, something like that is the greatest crime for him.

Loved the little talk between Gray and Erza, I'm sure he realized Juvia's feelings a while ago, but did his best to hide it, because it's too troublesome.

Here I'm hoping for Yukino joining the guild, because someone has to show the girl how good life and guilds can be. That she addresses everyone with -sama speaks volumes how she must have lived her life...

So, Lucy refused the keys. Well, there you go, we have the first of the new members to FT.

Stellar Mages have been disappearing, interesting. Does someone else think that maybe Layla isn't dead but is actually in some sort of spirit form or something?

The 12 keys being reunited will cause great destruction from activating Eclipse. But at the same time, I want to see it happen fast so that we can get to the main point of this arc That and maybe Lucy will end up summoning the King even if unknowingly.

Could it be that the 5th member is the DS equivalent of Wendy and is basically a carbon copy of her, but way more confident?

Sting's face when seeing Natsu was awesome as well. And I have to wonder if there'll be someone who'll help Natsu get out of this mess, or if he'll get out of it alone.

The Zentopia incident hasn't happened in the anime, it could happen, but it hasn't.

Filler arc will be good actually, the theme is interesting.

Well, this was an interesting chapter.

Thinking about it, lucy not accepting the keys is very typical to say the least. She is bound to have them forced on her at some point anyways. I think the development makes things more interesting overall although I am not sure of what to expect.

Not sure I liked the yukina bit though. I mean, she burst into tears the very second someone offers her nothing short of the most basic courtesy you would normally owe to even strangers just because? Whats next, natsu accidentally touches her when he is walking by and she falls in love? Every aspect of her life must have been hell for yukina from birth to this very point and she must have been so overwhelmingly unlucky not a single stranger she ever ran into at random was a complete ass.

Anyways, natsu's reaction was expected although I don't expect the confrontation to last long. I think makarov will burst in and stop things before they get serious. The makarov is likely to hear what happened and he is likely to want to beat the shit out of genma but he is going to settle with saying his kids are going to beat the shit out of sabertooth. I wonder how strong genma is for that matter. Natsu was apparently close in power to erza before the timeskip and his magic power was increased more than significantly thanks to urtear. In this regard, odds are he is not significantly behind the 10 holy mages this days basically and odds are his lightning fire dragon slayer magic can be used better now that he is stronger. Perhaps not to the point he could back when he fought hades however enough for him to last more time in it.
