Kabuto already in sage mode and edo tenseis
Jiraiya in Sage Mode with the 3 toad boss summons
Hiruzen Sarutobi in prime
Danzo Shimura with Baku summoned and seal off
Fu and Torune
Mito Uzumaki without kyubi
Kushina Uzumaki without kyubi
and all other alive Konoha shinobi and ones that died recently in the war too.
Kabuto has all his edo tenseis except for the Jinchuriki summoned outside of Konoha. Kabuto wants as many bodies intact so Madara isn't allowed to call in the meteors, Nagato can't chubiki tensei and Deidra can't self destruct and Mu can't dust release the whole village.
Konoha are aware Kabuto is coming and have sealers on stand by for the edo tensei.
Kabuto is ridiculously outnumbered.
There are also many shinobi in this list with strong sealing powers.
Then you have Hashirama, who is possibly the most powerful shinobi shown so far in this manga (excluding SOT6P).
Added to this, you have Tobirama, who invented Edo Tensei - so is likely to know its weaknesses as well as strengths.
Who knows how strong Hiruzen was in his prime, and it isn't possible to argue on reputation alone. Same with Sakumo and Mito.
But to finally top this off, Konoha have Naruto - who has shown to be able to deal with all the tailed beasts at once.
I can not see how Kabuto stands a chance here.
(also, are Orochimaru and Itachi counted as Konoha shinobi - not that they are really needed, but if they were included then poor Kabuto is even more screwed).
no oro is dead and itachi is one of kabutos edo tenseis. kabuto has an immortal madara, nagato and itachi on his side plus kages and akatsuki members. he has just as many notable shinobi as konoha and they are immortal.
The problem with the Konoha list is that we know that some of those individuals were extremely gifted, but we have little information on their actual abilities. Sealing techniques are essential in a battle against so many Edos, but the individuals likely to be Konoha's strongest sealing technique users have not actually been shown in battle. It is difficult to judge the effect the Uzumakis would have on the battle. Determining Sarutobi's ability level at his prime is also impossible to predict. We have no information on Sakumo. It's difficult to determine these individuals' significance in this battle based solely on their reputation alone. The condition that sealers are at the ready is also vague. How many sealers or seal teams are at the ready? What is the quality of these individuals? These are important factors, especially when sealing is the only means by which Konoha can win the battle. Konoha has a host of individuals who can take any numbers of individuals among Kabuto's Edos, but Konoha's sealing ability is questionable.
While the Edos are allowed much freedom with their attacks, Konoha's most powerful fighters are going to be limited by the fact that some of their most powerful attacks are likely to cost them more than they stand to gain. Hashirama is not going to be able to use his wood release at full power without likely causing some casualties on Konoha's side. Naruto's has to be careful with his bijuudama for fear of taking out members of his own village. And even these attacks are not going to be sufficient because the Edos would then have to be immediately sealed. There are quite a few individuals among Kabuto's Edos with the abilities to destroy entire villages. Deidara cannot self-destruct, but what of C3 or C4? CT is not available, but what of ST? Muu can't dust release the entire village, but he can still dust release a large segment of it taking out significant numbers of Konoha shinobi. Madara doesn't have his meteor attack available, but he is still capable of using Hashirama's techniques without the concern Hashirama is likely to have. And of course there is a host of other kage-level fighters available for Kabuto to wreak havoc. If Kabuto's team wasn't virtually immortal the battle would play out much differently, but as it is I would have to attribute the win to Kabuto and his Edos.
Kushina can used his chakra chains to hold as many as ET until minato seal them off. It's not that hard.
HIruzen can used enma as a cage to hold many ET util they will sealed.
Or maybe hirashiram will going to used his mokuton to catch as many ET and throw it away on hiruzen's cage.
He gets stomped, hard.
Kushina, Hashirama and Yondaime would be enough to retain all Edos and seal them off while others deal with Kabuto, and once the matter is settled they all gang up on him.
On a side note, what are Fu and Turune doing here? Aren't they ridiculously outmatched?
Are they meat shields?
