    [JP] Help with a pledge

    I need help with this pledge, there's some parts I can't understand and I can't think of a good way of saying most of it giving the same feeling

    Context: Two people want to enter a fighting guild and they have to make a pledge
    so the pledge goes like this:
    侯牽の剣佩御旗の下に----
    我 強きを求め戦いに生き
    大功を成さんことを----
    我 堅陣の礎となり精鋭の疾き干戈たらんことを---
    古の法に従い...
    我---
    ここに誓う!!
    The page

    So, in order what I can understand is
    Something about they swearing under a flag with a sword fixed on (though I can't think of a good way to say this)
    I will seek strength and live to fight
    I won't try to do meritorious service (???)
    I will become the cornerstone for this stronghold and ... (I don't get the rest)
    I will obey the ancient principles...
    I---
    Pledge here!!

    Please help
    Edit: No one...?

    佩 --> 佩く to wear a sword

    With(Wearing) a sword of Koken (Lord Ken??? ) under the flag

    Don't use negative. won't --> will

    Quote Quote:
    我 堅陣の礎となり精鋭の疾き干戈たらんことを---
    I will become the cornerstone for this stronghold and ... (I don't get the rest)
    and ... --> and become a great force
