How about Tobi being TOBIrama senju?

Well first of all, we have the name (off course).
Second: we really don't know if he died. We just think hed did (when he left to rescue his team).
Third: He's got knowledge of time/space ninjutsu.
Fourth: We don't know a lot about him, so we're definitly up for more about him in the future.
Fifth: Tobi's able to use Izanagi, wich means he's got Senju DNA somehow.

Now I know his spirit is supposed to be in the afterlife, because of him being summoned in the fight against the third.
But there should be some way that this is possible (plot twist?).

It even leaves room for him being Tobirama in Obito's body...

That doesn't make sense. Tobirama is the creator of Edo-Tensei. Why would he ask Kabuto how the Jutsu is performed and stopped?

1. Tobirama has been Edo Tensei'd. He's very dead. We do know he died, just not HOW exactly.
2. Tobi had to have Kabuto explain Edo Tensei to him. Doesn't make sense that the techniques creator would need someone to explain it to him.
3. Tobi and TOBIrama is so incredibly obvious it would be a shame if Kishimoto actually did that, even if number 1 and number 2 weren't true.

Tobirama created edo tensei but apparently he didnt perfect it , and if he created the jutsu , why not that he can do the reverse and bring his soul back to the living world and that 'space' in tobi sharingan might just be somewhere between the living and the dead , after tobirama is a space/time jutsu specialist but im not saying tobi = tobirama , just there might be incredibly tiny chance tobi might just be tobirama's soul in another body , like how pain has his six bodies , tobirama might have six souls

i do wonder why he never brought his brother back permanently

having someone like hashirama come back as an immortal, never unsummoned, would be so great. he'd be an eternal guardian of sorts.

instead he left his brother's soul alone and let orochimaru take advantage of that.

he could have taught hashirama to do that on his death as well, and zombie hashirama could have resurrected him in turn
