So Deathberry.com is translating the novels and all, but they locked them up to their old members only due to some drama with BA. Sounds like it's pretty badass these days to basically scanlate a novel and then lock it up, because they wrote that shit and have the rights to it, ya? Lol. 8D.
If that translation of the novel is true about Kenpachi and is suppossed to be taken as canon I guess its safe to assume he is one of the five war potentials that King Quincy is talking about. The list would be:
yamamoto not in the list ? maybe yuruichi zanpaktou is like azashiro's ? we never seen her zanpaktou either
I posted this on another thread too, but here goes:
If that novel is true... that's interesting. Kenpachi's true potential cannot possibly be limitless, though it shows no clear limit. Could it be? His potential seems tied with his reiatsu. The two seem connected. Wouldn't it be interesting if his reiatsu, thus his potential, is reactive? That it adapts to his opponent? If so, it may be linked with his fighting spirit. It essentially means his reiatsu, in the case that he fights an opponent without using his eyepatch, gets as strong as he needs it to be. The way he tied with Ichigo in SS while he should have murdered him. The way he fought a hard battle with Nnoitra, and next moment he easily slices through Yammy, whose reiatsu levels were indecently high (remember, espada were ranked based on reiatsu alone).
I always found it strange how Kenpachi's power fluctuates. It always had a more indefinable level than any other character. I always blamed Kubo's writing for that. But it's been a concious decision. Planned out way early. If my theory is correct, then it is no wonder that Aizen would rather not tangle with Kenpachi. Aizen had his evolution planned. He knew his reiatsu would increase to transcendent levels. And if Kenpachi's reiatsu is reactive, or rather, adaptive, he would create an opponent who would attain a similar reiatsu level. And since everything about Kennie is powered by reiatsu, his strenth and durability would increase exponentially.
The steeper the hill, the faster he runs.

Haha, Kubo mentioning "different levels of foreshadowing secrets", LOL
It sounds funny, I wonder whether he understands how it's enough that one person in 1000 notices something when the person is linked to a forum XD
Well, I am surprised about Kenpachi and his power... I'm not surprised Narita would surprise Kubo with his writing skills. And the plot so far sounds good.
Would want more info about the part with Ichigo during the timeskip though >_<
OMG Kenpachi is even more awesome and powerful than we assumed xD The guy is like god or something xD
Damn I wanna read these in full detail!
Aizen didn't want to fight Zaraki before he reached transcendent level, Zaraki is only Shinigami, and thus can not reach transcendent state. He would have beten Aizen one on one before evolution. After evolution, not so sure,
So, in the novel... what happened to Azashiro Kenpachi (8th kenpachi) in the end? Is he defeated and died? It's nice if he can join the battle between SS and Quincy.
I've found some information on the net, it seems that woman's name is Uro Zakuro and she's the bankai spirit of Azashiro Kenpachi's zanpakuto. It's also a permanent release type and he doesn't know the release command for his bankai. I guess the author was inspired from theories about Yachiru being Kenpachi's zanpakuto.Quote:
Hope we won't get that Yachiru is Ken's Zan as it would be better if Yachiru was an individual character as she seems to have a great potential way better than Hisagi, Renji and Renji combined.
Man, i'd like to read this novel
So.... can we consider this canon?
Kenpachi > Everyone
