Can Cross see everything Timpcanpy can/ Is he is inside Timpcanpy, all I'm saying is that Tim's more than just a golem and I know Cross is still alive somewhere waiting to f*** the Earl's day up and make a sick entrance

you cant say for sure cross is alive or not, i want him to be but his chances drop every chapter. As for Timcanpy we know little of him.

I agree with the Tyki and Wisley thing. It'd be so cool! I am need of moar Tyki! He's such a great character and I think he likes Allen too much to let anything really bad happen to him with Apo. ( maybe that's just the shipping feels speaking though)

OH, I think that the "Mask of Mana" is defs breaking down and Allen is returning to the personality that he had as Red, which it's been hinting at since volume 18. I thinks it's doing it faster than before because Allen has lost his loved ones and maybe his personality is regressing because he needs people to really depend on. Now that Johnny and Kanda are with him, I think he'll stay this way probably.

If all goes well with Hoshino, then yes. By the way the chapter last month came out early/ on time it was actually the translators who took too long to translate it.

There is no new chapter this month. We have to wait until september. Of course. ._. I love Hoshino and D. Gray-Man, really, and I don't want anyone to think I don't appreciate the work that she puts into this manga, but seriously? Why does she take so many breaks? At this rate, D. Gray-Man is gonna take FOREVER to finish (not that I want it to be over, ever). But we still have a lot to cover in this manga, and with so many breaks and only 30-something pages when we do get a chapter, it's gonna be a long time coming to get any answers. And this manga has already been going on for quite a while (I'm not sure how long exactly, though).
I don't want someone to say that I should just stop reading the manga if I'm unhappy with it or something along those lines, because I love D. Gray-Man so much and plan on sticking with it until the end, but I just don't understand why there are so many breaks. *sigh*
Let's hope the next chapter is a good one with lots of action and hopefully some answers. *crosses fingers*

Well, Hoshino falls ill often and she has a bad back. And draw requires bending, so she has problems, you must understand.

We've just got to stay patient, because Hoshino is continuing, despite being in pain.

I'm fine, personally, with waiting. Last time she took a break off, we got that gorgeous spread and that beautiful chapter.

No one's going to say that you should stop, because that would be rude, and you were just asking a question. No need to worry, dear.

August is probably gonna move slow. I've been re-reading my volumes over and over again. Mainly volume 17.

All I can say right now, is that I don't think that Cross knew that Current!Allen and Past!Allen are the same. Maybe his memories were somehow erased? But, Bookman. I think that he may know, or something. I dunno... My mind is clouded with chamomile at the moment and it's almost 2 AM here so i'm getting tired with like, every word.

I think something like this has already been said though, idik. I'm still thinking about this, like, frantically or somethign.

One of my oldest and dearest friends has a chronic condition that often leaves her in great pain and unable to move, so I'm very understanding of Hoshino's predicament. Hoshino doesn't choose to get ill or take breaks so we need to be patient and there for her as fans because, at the end of the day, not only is she writing/drawing DGM for herself(and her paycheck) but for us.

Is it frustrating? Of course it is and quite often I have to put up with one of my friends(apparently a DGM 'fan' as well) bad mouthing the series because of the wait or she doesn't like where the story is going. It baffles me how someone can put down a series they supposedly like just because it's slow to release. It's just something we're gonna have to cope with. No ifs or buts about it.

Plus any hiatus she throws at me will be NOTHING compared to to the one I dealt with in Yami No Matsuei. 10 years between the last chapter and the one the author released this year. A 6 month wait is a joke compared to that!

But yes, I truly appreciate that Hoshino continues to draw for us even though her health is bad. Judging by her interviews, she's also a perfectionist so she might be thinking: 'better no chapter than a chapter I'm not satisfied with'.

I wish more artists had that attitude. I can remember the art for the last chapter of Blue Exorcist was a real eye opener. I know some people moaned about the sketchiness of a few panels from 215 of DGM, but with BE it seemed like every other panel was sketchy and hadn't been inked in. It was really distracting and made me wonder why they even bothered. I'm not sure about the circumstances or id the mangaka is ill or something but it really did make me blink.

Yeah I think you might be right. It's times like this that I wish Hoshino had a twitter account so she could at least give us advanced warning or something.

Absolutely true!!!! I bought "Noche" and one of the greatest things I thought it had were Hoshino's comments about her art! But when I read them, she was constantly saying: "I'm not satisfied with this cover" or "The result wasn't what I expect" (I'm not copiying them, only writing the tone of the comments). I felt very sad. She's very perfectionist and works very hard in every piece of art that she draws...and dealing with her health problems at the same time!!! I really wanted to tell her "Cheer up! Your art and story is fantastic and we, fans, really appreciate your work!!!" So I also believe she can do that!

Finding out at the last minute that the chapter is delayed a month isn't fun especially with d.gray-man since it seems every other month that we don't have a chapter. In the past 8 months we've only had 4 chapters. I'd prefer Hoshino to take a hiatus if she wasn't feeling well than push herself. Especially because this manga is already in monthly installments it's difficult to remember details or get the plot feel without rereading before each chapter.
Im ready for the hate.

Laughing, because I am doing the exact same thing, haha.
The part where Allen asks Cross when The 14th implanted the memories and Cross is like, "Iunno, before he died, I suppose? Yeah, that must be it!" (and Lavi's in the corner thinking, "What a maroon *facepalm*")...now it's making sense. It seems as though Cross didn't get it until it was too late, judging by the comment he makes later about not realizing his mistake at first.

Well, here's to another month of rereading everything and searching for clues. I feel so Victorian, like I'm waiting for the next chapter of the latest Charles Dickens or Wilkie Collins serial to come out and leave me with more cliffhangers. *laugh*

Thanks for informing that there's no chapter. Otherwise I'll be stalking sites to no end. I'm actually a bit frustrated since I was looking forward to the chapter, but oh well. And seriously, a month's wait is nothing compared to other series. I'm still bitter over Sugisaki-sensei starting a new series without finishing DNAngel.

But this is a rather bad timing for certain people wanting their manga fixes since Kubo-sensei who's the mangaka of Bleach happens to be down with pneumonia now. The whiners are obviously complaining but hey that's nothing compared to Hoshino-sensei's hiatuses. Still, I think it's worse for Bleach since it's weekly and the impact can be felt more? Actually I don't read much Bleach. I only read it for hollow!Ichigo and that's all. another shounen selfcest OTP along with Neallen

You're kidding right? No one's going to hate you for giving legitimate reasoning relating to your feelings in a d gray man forum, its not like you were bashing or anything. But really though I think we are all disappointed that there's no d gray man this month and I know its a pain to wait every month but I always reassure myself by thinking "all good things come when we wait." As it relates to you not remembering what's happened in previous chapters I can't really recommend much
if rereading and taking part in forum discussions don't help you as it is. What I will say is that assuming most of us read over ten or so mangas currently I think it would be wise to categorize what you're reading into two groups: (1)what you need to remember and (2)what you don't need to remember at least until a chapter updates. This is to say that some mangas don't really require as much brain power to be honest. I'm often fanboy over series with high plot density to keep my brain busy, but I also read a few series that don't really draw on this element much and so I can easily recollect the previous events by looking at the last 3 or so pages of the previous chap.

With that being said I'm really looking forward to seeing what Apo is going to do next chapter. Something tells me its going to be more awesome than usual and ofcoarce we might get some noahs appearing since they were using Allen as bate for Apo in the first place.
