Holy Crap pinoymanga-scans are now faster as MS o_O
The outcome pisses me off, but atleast Junazard can be happy that his death started another war.
Well, it's quite official that HSDK is now at Naruto's and Bleach's development plot level.
This ending is probably for the best. Kenichi now can see that strength doesn't always equal victory; he'll have to keep this in mind when he goes against Satomi Kajima.
It would have been nice to see the one shadow fight some, but that would make things too easy. One of this manga's notable theme is overcoming yourself and obstacles that seem impossible. This fight was a good example of both those themes and I for one am satisfied by the way it ended.
I liked tsundere Sakaki. Jenazad started a war to improve and test his martial arts then, started another war so his martial arts didn't decline. He was defeated by an asspull & now the Supreme Silat is lost forever...... the fruit industry is gonna be severely crippled.
Jenezad was an interesting character far more entertaining than Akira...for him to die like this because of sheer asspull.....its really disheartening well done Matsuena you've not only found a way to extend this horrible arc with civil war, but you've reached an all time low...congrats
Aint gonna happen, Sakaki gonna put a Princess on the throne and with that war will be officialy over and this arc too.Originally Posted by masgrande
Im glad Akira won, i hope Kenichi learned something and i wonder how OS will react to Akira killing Jenezad (prob he will have no problem with it, but maybe there is some rules of this case)
Is it finally over? I didn't care which one died etc. but this way it's (suprisingly) over. Way too many Plot Twists in this arc, now let's wrap this up in the next chapters and start a new (better) arc.
I hate to pile on, but this arc did absolutely nothing for me. The only good part was revealing Saiga.
That fight was boring, and completely foolish. The strongest character we've actually seen fighting seriously went down to a plot device.
I bet the arc is going to end up with the elder using his own amnesia fist to make miu forget junazad's brainwashing. I am surprised neither kenichi or sakaki are somewhat angry that junazad was killed. I guess neither of them cared much.
Ah, nice chapter, it was inspiring
Im not that angry that Jenazad lost like some people here. We already knew that the stronger doesn't always win in this manga, and its not like the gap between them was THAT large. Hongo had a lot of advantages, and Jenazad still only really failed because he got distracted.
Moving on, will this civil war be a chance for Kenichi to get some extra experience? or do you think he is too injured to be of any use and Sakaki will clean it up?
Well he had a sort of moral support in Sakaki. May not count for much, but it definitely upped his motivation, which was higher than Jenezad's to begin with. Nobody wants to lose in front of a rival, right? Also, Jenezad wanted to fight mostly just for the lulz and to test his skill, so he didn't really take him seriously and underestimated Hongo at several points. These little things matter.
