That's out of context, when he tied her up its cos she was instinctively attacking him so he used Silat sealing techniques, to subdue her. Most of the time he was playing the "good guy who saved Miu" role. He praised her abilities & he said the potion was medicine. From her point of view; waking up in a foreign land with no memory she clung to the first person who was good to her.

No it's not out of context. Whose fault was it that she was going berserk in the first place? He even said to himself that that was exactly what he wanted while smiling. Unless you're saying you actually condone his actions in which case I have to seriously question your moral judgement.

As for the rest of your comment, what you said isn't relevant to my second post so it must be for my first post.

"Good guy who saved Miu" doesn't entirely describe the role Junazard was playing. He was playing as someone willing to offer power and revenge through pain and blood under the disguise of someone who saved her. As time went on, she became increasingly violent and began attacking anyone that moved around her including Junazard. I can only wonder why she felt she had to be on edge all the time. Go read 451 if you don't remember.

On top of that, you make it sound like Miu looked to Junazard like a father just because her memory was erased. Did anything in the manga occur that suggests that she relied on Junazard for anything more than clothing, food, shelter, training? On top of that, has Miu ever done anything to suggest she's anything less than an independent girl. She cooks, takes care of the house, washes the laundry, and let's not even mention the madness the Elder's put her through as a child. She's relied more on herself than anyone else all her life. Why would that instinct be gone just because she woke up in a strange land with her memory gone?

The point is this, there was zero emotional connection between these two certainly none that warrants Miu's reaction at the end of this chapter. You want further proof he didn't care about her well-being, read the end of 462 in which he nonchalantly said that if she dies then that's the end of her talent.

Yeah your right the reaction she gave wasnt warranted. Matsuena likes to end things sort of in an upbeat way if you hadn't noticed this was just one last little 'nice' thing for jenezad before he kicked it. Just like when gaidar lost he didnt scold boris for losing and wanted him to get out of yami. Or how aggard tried to help ken and had a little bro moment with apachai after apachai came back to life. Its just so its like oh maybe there was some good in the afterall. Its a shounen manga what do you expect half the bad guys usually end up becoming anti-hero's lol

Not only did the author kill one of the interesting villain, but he also did not give him a deserving end/chapter. I mean instead of investing a whole chapter, he ended this chapter with a cliffhanger of the useless army. As Oda killed WB and Ace, he gave them a proper chapter deserving their character. Its disappointing how fast the author of this manga moved on.
