Favorite/Interesting female characters of all time (or memorable to you), may it be manga, books, tv, etc. I usually hate female protagonists because they seemed stereotypical and or I can't related to them. Though, there are characters that really are outstanding. So yeah, you can leave more one name.
For now, I gonna just go with the ladies of Game of Thrones/ASOIAF for now:
-Sansa Stark- One of the most hated character in the tv series. Fairly typical at first, but the situation she is in isn't very literature typical. I really like how her psychology is developing, as she learning how to be quite the politician.
-Catelyn Tully- Another hated character in the books. Catelyn suffered one psychological blows after another. I just found her very interesting, especially how her circumstances is playing out.
-Cersei Lannister- Not my favorite villain in the show, but is another hated character. In the beginning she seemed so all knowing, all powerful. But soon, she revealed to be so flaw. I am just curious what sort of ending will she have. Does GRRM gave her a redemption or a horrendous death.
-Arya Stark- I used to love her character in season 1, but season 2, she was nothing more than a tool to explore Tywin Lannister's psychology. I don't know if I gonna like her story development in the book but I love tomboy And up course, she is no lady.
-Daenerys Targaryen because she is the underdog in a man world. Can't wait to see her getting back into the 7 kingdoms.

It's tough choosing your favourite character in Game of Thrones, but as you can see on my current avatar it would have to be Arya Stark. To put it simply she's a badass. She's the character who's development I'm always interested in seeing the most.
Arya Stark for me too , she is more badass than joffrey , joffrey is a joke of a king , i have always wanted for somehow have arya decapitate joffrey lol and have arya sitting on the throne when she grows up o.0
I'm with Haruhi.
Powerful, hyper, cute, smart et cetera.
Hayao Miyazaki editions:
-Chihiro Ogino (Spirited Away)- there is so much charm about this girl that I am not sure where it came from. I don't recall she was naive. Not quite a tomboy, not quite a lady, not quite the stereotypical tramp in help, and not quite Cinderella either. Hmmmm
-Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle)- Beauty is everything to a girl. So it is very interesting to see a girl that lived in an old woman body. She never lost herself. The circumstances she found herself in is fun, her reaction too is priceless.
Very good choice and a great movieQuote:
My top female characters would be
-Teresa from Claymore. She was a great character and a total badass.
-Konata Izumi from Lucky Star. Totally awesome and an Otaku.
-Katniss Everdreen from The Hunger Games because she was a strong and resourceful and wasn't an annoying, helpless girl.
-Ofelia from Pan's Labyrinth because it was just a good movie and I enjoyed her role in it.
