I don't buy it. They discovered the weakpoint and set out for the weakpoint ages ago... and yet we haven't seen them do a single thing. I want to know exactly what they've been up to.

The train conversation was basically "hey our team mates are shit" "yep"
Better chapter than usual. I thoght it'd be one of those cheap romance chapters when reading the first pages.
Good to see the guy who was investigating the entire Gantz thing. It was convenient he showed up when Kei1 was about to run from people, it would be boring to have many wasted pages through many chapters of Kei1 running with Tae and having their typical boring dialogue.
It's truth, the Gantzers are actually the saviors of Earth, but when the announce on tvs started, I couldn't stop thinking how ironic it was that people stopped being agressive towards Kei1 because he was a Gantzer, a "savior". He was exactly the opposite after obeying Tae: a traitor, an enemy of his kind.
I liked the part with the Katou Team and am anxious to know about the organization and story behind this gathering of Gantzers. Maybe we may know more about the black balls this time, though I doubt Oku will give us such satisfaction.
Well, if not for executive meddling from the Zaibatsu guys, the Japanese teams wouldn't even have tried to attack the motherships themselves. Team Tokyo in particular were more interested in protecting their families instead of attacking the aliens. I'm guessing that the US teams assembled like the freaking Avengers right from the start and actually fought an organised war instead of forcing a bunch of random people to just cause damage.
The fact that they made it to the mothership itself and are about to make the final push hints that whatever destruction the giant mechs caused by the Japanese teams, you'll need to multiply that in order to visualise the scale of the battle we'll see next chapter.
Day 1: Fuckin giants -> Kei/Tae sleep in hotel
Day 2: Everything else.
iirc zaibatsu summon everyone in the morning, 10 minute battle ensues, everyone gets sent home and Tae is immediately captured. Tonkotsu also dies... So! Kei and Cherry head straight to the mothership and mess around for a few hours. Kei runs amok for a bit, then leaves, then comes back. Then the mech assault happens and here we are.
Oh, also Gantz is still stucking in 2006. I'm pretty sure 5g phones were still an idea around that time.
Wasn't the Tokyo team assembled around the same time Kei1 first entered the mothership? And almost right away we meet the Americans... I don't know.
Did Nishi really stand around in the apartment doing nothing for 3 days like an asshole?
Although if you think about how much time has passed since the invasion, us humans are rather badass because we have our collective military strength annihilated within the first few hours, and less than 48 hours after that we've beaten the aliens back to space. That's even shorter than the six-day war, except this is on a global scale.
They underestimated us!
But just wait til they engineer their own gantz tech and come back for more.
Problem with Gantz is that too much happens off-screen. That and Tae sucking the life out of the story.
The U.S. and other teams were on the mothership the whole time?
But I really diddnt expect this speedy conclusion right as Kei 1 had to make the final decision. If he had destroyed that central pillar the ship probably would cease to function or kill everyone inside with a big explosion.

the next chapter is going to be interesting that tae's journey seems to be over...
I still think its 2009 in the Gantz world
