Krauser vs Zaizen? Poor Zaizen lol
Krauser isnt that great. With technique, you can avoid the Southern Cross being hit. Remember just hitting lateral shots left and right, the same way you counter the standard Shukuchiho.
It only worked because Nakagauchi felt like hitting Cord Balls to get points off Krauser faster and Krauser anticapatied the Cord Balls eventually.
Had Nakagauchi avoided Cord Balls completely, Krauser wouldnt have got Southern Cross to work.

Its not out there to think that an improved Zaizen after Mountain training who is called a genius would do ok against Krauser. Doubt he would win but hey.

You have Marui VS Jirou. That's a boring match and a straight Marui win.
Jirou has Magic Volley which cant last forever against Marui who specializes in Volleys and perhaps the best at volleys.

Marui has Tightrope Walking and Iron Pole shot. That's gonna take many games for Jirou to handle. then we get Temporal Difference Hell. It doesnt look good for Jirou at all.

He even uses Pole shot as a lob. His skill is superior to Akutagawa.
Mentally, he and all the Rikkai Players are strong. Besides Kirihara at times.
Can return Dunk Smash also, with Power Wrist Weights on. Went the whole match against Momoshiro and Kaidoh who are excellent and crushed them 6-1.

    Marui wins hands down.

Marui beats Jirou, Jirou is good, but not that great as Marui.

I forgot about Southern Cross being defeated by accurate shots. I think Zaizen after mountain would have a chance, but we'll never knew that because he hasn't played in the entire manga, in POT and Shin. When Konomi will make him play is unknown for now.

Krauser's a scrub. Don't wanna see him playing anymore matches. At first, I liked the idea of a skinny guy having lots of power. But, something about him rubs me the wrong way.

Same. He's cited as the next captain if we are to go by storyline hints.
He shares a room with all the other next year captains. His room: Kirihara Akaya - Next Rikkai captain, Kaidoh Kaoru - Next Seigaku captain, Hiyoshi Wakashi - Next Hyotei captain. Pretty sure he is gonna be Shitenhouji captain.
Deserves a match. In fact, he deserves to be seen taking a swing and ACTUALLY HITTING THE BALL in the manga.
All the returns that he has made have been in OVA's only lol. Poor guy.

    I next want to see:

Jackal Kuwahara VS Kaidoh Kaoru - Match of stamina

Atobe Keigo VS Fuji Shusuke - Fayte did a good fanfic. Made me realize it would be an amazing match.

Oshitari Yushi VS Ishida Gin - Oshitari Yushi to show us his improvement and win like he beat Momo.

Oni Juujiro VS Date Danji. - Obvious reasons. The damage they give to players has been insane. Neither of them have even gotten serious in the storyline yet lol. Oni to win, but would be fantastic match

Yukimura Seiichi VS Oni Juujiro - Just want to see Black Jack Knife get returned really. Since his hack ability is that he sees through all special shots, I wanna see how he overcomes it.

    Re: Possible matches discussion

Oni vs Yukimura: Not only BJK but also Oni's next move would be returned. Probably it would be a long rally and Oni getting in a dream or yipped, I don't see Oni overcoming yips tough. Irie's stronger than Oni mentally, so Irie would be dangerous if Yukimura's yips won't work, but I don't think Oni would give that much trouble.

The only thing that can make him win is his off-the charts power, but Yukimura showed that he can return every shot, no matter what, so I don't know what Oni would do.

Konomi needs to think of a special skill set to give to him first. He's the Genius of Shitenhoji, and all Geniuses in the story have something that make them so spectacular. Fuji has his Counters, Yushi has his 1,000 Techniques, etc. Zaizen has his Not Hitting the Ball But Able to Do Amazing Things, like being able to play as a Shitenhoji regular and being invited to the U-17.

Kentaro was Rokkaku captain and wasn't invited, so unfair lol

He sucked. He was an awful version of Nakagauchi. He ONLY had Cord Ball. No real control or anything. His Cord Ball, you could eventually see coming, so he had nothing by the time at least 4 games has passed.
Rokkaku in general were awful. They only reached the semis coz they had an easy run.
Aoi should only go the camp because they let in awful-awful players like Higashikata and Kadowaki.

Had they met Yamabuki, Fudomine, Rikkai or Hyotei before the Semis they would have been easily knocked out.

Saeki was really cool but he had nothing going for him at all besides Motion Vision. You cant go far with just good eyesight and nothing else.
I thought at least Saeki should have been invitied, and Itsuki showed great skill in that doubles match aswell.

But Amane and Kurobane are the only deserved U-17 candidates from Rokkaku. Kurobane made Kawamura fall from Pronation Serve, Amane > Hiyoshi initially.
Amane single handedly returned Jack Knife. He returned Hadoukyu and Jack Knife with one hand. Kurobane returning Two-Handed Hadoukyu with a single-handed backhand aswell.

Saeki special move: being Fuji's friend

Kurobane and Amane are great (Davide is one of my favourite characters: different racket, amazing power, looks cool, kinda dumbass lol ) Konomi could give them some playtime...

Kentarou sucked, yes, but he had some charisma (and he was the only 1st year captain in the series). Personally I prefer him over the Jimmies, Mizuki, Mr. Gekokujou (who hasn't won against anyone superior, so Gekokujou my balls), etc...

Kentarou, specialist in cord balls, he wouldn't have get past 5th court, maybe if he went to train with Mifune.

Still, he isn't that great of a player, Chinen destroyed him, almost every Ms would kick his ass.

You can't make it as a pro being a specialist in cord balls. That's like being a pro in getting Tails in Heads or Tails.

He wouldnt reach 6th Court lol.
He wouldnt return Scud Serve haha.
Ootori is the bottom of 6th Court.

Its over for Aoi Kentaro. Rokkaku all in all were weak. With Davide and Bane being the only positives for being practically equal to Kawamura/Momoshiro. Losing only 7-6.

    So true lol.
I cant remember the result between Saeki and Fuji Yuuta though. I know a St.Rudolph VS Rokkaku friendly took place in the story.

Loved their match. Yeah, Amane was/is/was cool. Dunno if he will ever have a match in the storyline ever again so I think he is amongst the many forgotten bros.
Forgotten bros examples: Sengoku, Oshitari. Y, Shishido, Fuji. Y, Ibu etc.

Being a 1st Year captain only made me respect the team less. You think I could be a lot older than my captain in a school team?? Especially when the little kid isnt even the best in the club? F*ck no.
I just couldnt take Rokkaku seriously.

Listen, Hiyoshi > Aoi. Anyday. Whether you like Hiyoshi or not. That is the case.
Mizuki VS Aoi, would be a good match. Nothing suggests Aoi really improved from Regionals to now. While Mizuka has access to U-17 Camp training.

To be fair to Hiyoshi, he has only faced awesome opponents. (Although his apparent loss to Amane is an embarassment.)

How many people can defeat Atobe and Ryoma? NOT MANY. So he hasnt done that badly.
