I am the only one that doesn't really get convinced by CC as a major villain? It's not so much his techniques but his character in general doesn't really excite me. I don't know, ever since I first saw him, I just thought: "Meh...let's see where this is going".

I really hope Luffy ends up fighting Welgo during this arc, this guy seems to have insane Haki control.

i hope kenemon is the next strawhat........he has all the characteristics of a strawhat. he has been a part of this arc all the way through. if he doesnt join then he will be the link between the strawhats and the wano samurai for the big war later on for them to join the strawhat army

Until proven wrong I'm calling dude Virgo. Wergo doesn't mean anything, isn't a name, and sounds like a phonetic reading of katakana meant to say Virgo. Virgo means something, it could be used as a name.

He's not a major villain. He's a moderately strong villain, being used to demonstrate the exponential increase in power the audience can expect from New World antagonists. His real importance may come a source of information about the "important key" to Law's plan. He certainly does not have the long term plot importance enjoyed by the likes of Crocodile, Blackbeard, CP9, Akainu, etc.

yea that cool, but i think that kinemon son is dead and he cant let go off the pain. kinemon would be a nice addition especially with big mam looking for the strawhats


also i have seen cocept art of this guy virgo. in the concept picture he was dressed in all white and had 3 people around him dressed like him. 2 guys and a lady,

Three things to add after reading the last 3 pages. My personal predictions, so to speak:

• The "boss" (Who is mention by Virgo's) is a completely new character.
• It's not related with Joker, who is an independent entity who deals exclusively with information.
• The organization is not related with Yonkou, nor the marines. It has spies everywhere, though. Theme: The Twelve signs of the Zodiac.

I do not think the boss is a character we have seen yet. He may have been mentioned by name, but is not someone who has ever been pictured. That or he is a newly introduced character. He certainly is not a Yonkou, nor is he a Marine, thus ruling out Joker. World Government sounds reasonable, though there are other possibilities I am sure. It is possible Joker is his underling; he is monitoring Caesar's activities, it would make sense that he has learned of Joker's identity and contacted him. Or even planted Joker in G-5 himself. Not a certainty, but possible.

Could you two elaborate on why you think there will be something linking to the zodiac signs? It would be a cool theme but I just don't know where you are getting it from.

The more I look at Virgo the more I like him and the more pumped I get to see the whole organisation as a whole. Unlike the Baroque Works neither Virgo and Monet looks or acts goofy, Oda sure is getting "darker", even for a little bit. As of yet, nearly every single character that has ever spoken of or about a Shichibukai has done so in fear or great respect, Virgo simply regards it as mere child play, both indicating his power and status but also the organisations. This character might evolve into one of my favourites if he keeps it up!

Hm... How about we name him "vergo" which is latin for tilt/subside?

Maybe with the DF named "shizu shizu no mi" (pun on "shizumu" which is the japanese for "vergo" and "shizu shizu" meaning "slow and authoritative"/"calm and awesome"... )

Then it must be on purpose and related to some ability. Maybe gravity? Like the Kilo Kilo Fruit, but AoE.

It would explain why the smoke/gas dust is cleary overdrawn/exaggerated around Law. It could have been forced/pushed to the ground just like Law's body. I'm sure there are some devil fruit's abilities, otherwise the heart theory would mean that Virgo's domination had nothing to do with his own powers, what I wouldn't like for a building entrance.

If these are some abilities, I will also go with some area of effect power because it is an invisible force.

Really I thought it would be cool if it is Joker, but the fact that this new character didn't answer nothing and just added more mysteries annoyed the shit out of me.

• The upper echelon is called adults.
• Monet is there because they can't trust Caesar.
• A new island/city/place called Dress Rosa/Dresrosa.
• No pity would be shown to those endangering them, they would have killed Law if needed.
• At least one of them is far more powerful than the famous Shichibukai Law, meaning they aren't just bureaucrats.
• He's a CoA user.

You are disappointed because a character didn't act like complete idiot[looking at CC revealing the slime's weakness] and didn't gave Law, an outsider, important information about a secret cabal? Come on!

Do we really need a zodiac theme in One Piece? The Anime/Manga industry got enough of that already. Saint Seiya, Fruits Basket, Gundam Wing. But twelve of them would mean the Mugiwaras would need an extra or guest member to beat them [whenever they might be ready to face monsters like Virgo/Wergo/whosoever] in match up fights.

I don't believe he was really part of it. I think he was held captive by them as a child. CC reminded Law of someone when they talked about the captured children. Wergo said that Law can't hide things from the adults. The weapon Vergo uses looks like those canes teachers used to punish their students.

Unless you have another name to call them I will keep adressing them as "adults". And I'm all for calling him Wergo as hoeru pointed out yesterday.

I don't think that adults is the name of the upper echolons. I think it refers to Laws childhood. Wergo and Law seem to know each other from long ago, i think Law probably was held captive by them as a child. When talking about the captured children, CC reminded Law of someone. Wergo's weapon looks like these canes that were used in school to punish students.

So saying "Even if you hide things from us...the adults will find out" implies that Wergo still treats Law as a child.

Do we really need a zodiac theme in One Piece? The rest of the Anime/Manga industry got more than enough of that already.

As someone said here, Wergo wasn't written in the typical letters for Virgo. So right now, I don't call him Virgo. He doesn't even look like the zodiac sign, which doesn't have to mean anything, but quite often Oda chooses names fitting to the design of the character. Currently I don't see any Zodiac based organisation behind this.

Look, list whatever you want, I don't find this arc enjoyable. I don't know why, nothing appeals me at all. Compared to EL, the war, ID, it feels wrong.
