If no cover series is listed it could be a model. Sunday puts models on the cover of double issues sometimes, IIRC

Seems that way. I guess the original posting about it being a short series was on the money. BTW that says 'The climax unmistakably draws near! The birth of a demon approaches?!' Though wait a minute. Could this be the end of this ARC and not the end of the series? Shogakukan has been doing a lot of short serials in all of it's magazines lately, but they've been pretty good about announcing that beforehand. Why not with this? It could go either way at this point, but I'm leaning more towards this advertising the end of this arc moreso the end of the series.

BTW what chapter is that? I just got my physical copy of chapter three in the mail and I don't recall seeing this...

And dat feeling when Anagle mole is the only absent series in the entire magazine.

It's possible that this is the end of the series, but I doubt Shogakukan would do that without letting people know beforehand, especially with a popular mangaka. (That's from chapter four, by the way.)

Exactly. I don't see them just ending this without more of a heads up. Besides, there still seems to be quite a bit to clear up, and there aren't really enough chapters to compile a first volume yet.

And right, since I get physical releases I guess I would be a week behind. (AKA on time since these are leaks and not official.) Thanks for clearing that up.

That's actually the thing I've been worried about: every single chapter so far has been longer than normal, even chapter four (while most series stop the extra pages at chapter three). If they give chapter 5 extra pages, too, they might actually have enough to make a volume with just those five.

Apparently, Silver Spoon/Gin no Saji will be getting an anime adaptation.

It would probably just last 12 episodes. Silver Spoon isn't really the type of series to have a long anime to go by, material-wise and reception-wise. Well, that's only my perception of things.

Already, huh? It only has 6 volumes... Or volume 6 I don't think is even out for another week. Ah well. I just hope they do it in season rather than go in another direction after like, 30 episodes.

Sixty chapters is good for about thirty episodes (give or take). I also think twelve episodes is the most reasonable expectation, with additional seasons and movies to follow. Long, ongoing DBZ style anime are out of style anyway. Multiple, short seasons and movies are far more common nowadays.
