I'm going to buy it either way. Though I know they will have the war, I'm not sure if the ending will be from the manga or something Namco just made up. But I love boss fights and story mode. And there is only a couple characters that I wish could get new moves, Itachi, Minato and Kakashi

Good I didn't buy Generations then. As for updates of Konoha 11 Sai will get this Tiger Ougi, Chooji will be finally how he always supposed to be and there's problem with others cause they don't really do anything in the Manga and Anime.

you saved your money not buying generations but is really confirmed that UNS 3 WON'T BE THE COMPLETE ARC,i guess i will have to play resident evil 6,the new god of war and black ops instead.

I'll be getting it regardless they've improved on the system more so then with generations and have stated they are still improving features.

I don't know if I'm going to buy the game, i was very disappointed in generations, the story mode was short and the best thing about it was the fight of hashirama vs madara but for the money that i spend on the game ..
I being waiting for ultimate ninja storm 3 and if the arc of the war is only half way, i won't be really happy... special if you get the game when it comes out is 63 or 64 dollars after taxes..

Generations was never about the story, it was about improving the fighting engine and balancing the game more, which they achieved for the most part (spamming will always be a issue). Although it still has some flaws the lmited KNJ system was a huge addition and added more strategy to the game.

In generations, it seemed as though the limit they put on the replacement jutsu didn't matter. Mainly because of the fact that they basically handed them to you, you no longer had to time it. Basically I'm wondering if they kept the limit which is basically confirmed, but brought back the timing from two and one. It was way too effing easy in generations. You'd think it would be a good trade-off, but no. No it was not.

In summation, Of course I don't want unlimited substitution. The limit was awesome, but they basically made it to freaking easy.

Yeah I agree with this, in Storm it was much more difficult to KNJ.

Hopefully they do revert it to the former timing but I wouldn't be surprised if it stays the same. They seem to be focusing more on other aspects of the game, and I'm really happy to finally have a way to knock someone out of their awakening.

So long as everyone gets multiple Jutsu and we don't get (too many) recycled move sets I will be more than satisfied. The thing I would like to see is every character being able to use 2 Jutsu in a single move set, in the same way Kakashi uses his Raikiri's and Sasuke with his Katon's, not as a separate move set.

Not to mention, confirmed playable, with tailed beast awakenings 8D This is truly epic. After a draught of info we suddenly get an update of such proportions. Just this will justify bying this game.

Also note that Gaara is included, just look at the picture, Shukaku is in. Every fricking Jin with their beast. Christmas has come early. Can't wait to play Roshi and Songoku

sweet i wonder if the et versions of them will be playable maybe as tobi's six paths. roshi is one of my fave characters so this is great.

I hope that this time we will be able to fight with random "criminals" on the way to the next objective cause Ultimate ninja storm 2 was boring as hell besides boss battles.
