Medaka Box's 2nd Season Slated for October

TV Tokyo's official website for Medaka Box announced that the second season will premiere in October.

Looking forward to the second season, that's where the real stuff starts~

From what I've seen, I think I could watch:

- K: an amazing animation! And, "knight" vs. "skateboarders" plus some sci-fi??? I think I'll give it a try.

- Robotics; Notes: I liked Steins; Gate but looking at the trailer I'm not sure about this, I don't like anything related with mecha... -.-

- Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: I've always read it was a great manga. Maybe it's time to check it and the anime at the same time.

I think I will try Chuunibyuu demo Koi ga Shitai - for no reason other than it is a KyoAni production and directed by the great Ishihara Tatsuya (the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Kanon, Air, Clannad). As a fan of Productions I.G. I might also try Robotics;Notes.

Anyone looking for a romantic-comedy manga adaption should try Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. The manga is considerably better than Sukitte li na yo (kind of a KimiTodo rip off), serialized in the same magazine. Tonari has a more convincing romantic pairing, more likable female lead, and more interesting supporting cast.

Is there any new trailers about Psycho Pass? I didn't know the script is made by Urobuchi, now I'm looking forward to watch that too.

Art reminds me of Hitman Reborn so much (actually so much that I think Amano either made them or they copied her style like mad) not what I would have expected from the first trailer but it looks interesting

There are quite a few other pretty good series starting this fall season Asa but I get you, it looks really promising - I always enjoyed Amano's art so if the story is good this will definitely be a must watch.

On a unrelated note I totally love the track of the little trailer, I really hope they will use that one in the anime too~

Adding K and Psycho Pass to my list. K was the featured anime at last Anime Festival Asia, and from what I could see the bits of information it seems quite interesting. They especially advertise the voice actors. :O And the trailer is cool, looking forward to it!

Right... right?? I know K is going to be awesome the moment I see the trailer.
All I know is that there will be a supernatural fight between two sides... The side which people are wearing blue uniform, and the side of the Red King. I know a little bit about Red King, but I know nothing about the blue-uniformed people.
Anyone knows when it will be aired?

Wow after watching the PV for "From the new World" I'm really interested in the show, this season is going to be awesome. I think it's the first time I'm looking forward to that many series.

Pretty interesting stuff this coming season

That trailer of K looks pretty interesting to me. It gives the impression of being a dramatic supernatural action oriented series. I'm also intrigued by it's art style. The odd way the backgrounds looked at times and the heavy tinting; I'm curious how that's going to look.

Where did this Maoyuu Maou Yuusha trailer come from? I had no idea it was getting anime treatment. It could be really great depending on how well it's done. The story, for those who don't know it, plays with the classic "hero versus demon lord" premise but takes that idea in a completely new direction. It often got it's drama from the political and economic side of things as the the action. It's a little like Spice and Wolf that way.

The new version confirms the following additions to the cast:

Miyuki Sawashiro as Shion Karanomori
Shizuka Itou as Yayoi Kunidzuka
Kenji Nojima as Nobuchika Ginoza
Akira Ishida as Shuusei Kagari

Previous versions of the video revealed that Kana Hanazawa and Tomokazu Seki are also in the cast, Production I.G will be animating the series, and Reborn! manga creator Akira Amano is responsible for the original character designs.

The series takes place in the near future, when it is possible to instantaneously measure and quantify a person's state of mind and personality. This information is recorded and processed, and the term "Psycho-Pass" in the anime's title refers to a standard used to measure an individual's being. The story centers around the "enforcement officer" Shinya Kōgami (Seki) who is tasked with managing crime in such a world.
