Maybe the time has come to face the man behind everything.

From the start of this series it never made sense were all these weapons came from, it became even more ludicrous the moment the zaibatsu hacked Gantz and made those 3000 foot tall mechas spawn in the middle of the alien capital.

There certainly is some hammer space factory were some uber advanced AI is building countless weapons on the brink of an eye, I bet we are going to see some godlike Eldritch Abomination who has been toying around with humanity and the aliens from day 1.

whatever is behind all these events happening is bigger than just 1 individual.

doesn't have to be one thing, however it sure is possible for it to be one thing if it's godlike.

I think humans might be behind it to be honest. Not talking about controlling every little detail but humans are malleable enough to be shaped any way you want (if you're prepared to stick to it for a couple of hundred years). I'm talking about a bunch of humans that are way more advanced than us though. Whoever built the gantz tech and who else knows what.

From my knowledge, the humans were building the tech and weaponry and the fat German girl is the translator of the codes. These Codes are the data of the humans who die, so it May be all a big computer program thingy.
But from what the Germans say "it's just a big gladiator match", all they want is entertainment, but then you have the mysterious guy, Sebastian and the Gantzers who know the truth of the universe so the Germans may be just fucking Kikuchi over and telling him complete bullshit or Sebastian knows all and is some kinda God, lying to the Germans. But I have a hunch that in the Gantz world, reality is all a lie.
So I think that the German spectators are the higher beings controlling the Gantz world.

many has postulated the nature of existence, with some going as far to say that in some form or another, we're nothing more than so much data loaded onto a ram, but in cosmic terms, and after a fashion, and all the energy that keeps our presence in the ram is used up, the very particulates of the smallest bits of matter and energy, dissipates into nothingness, but this, will happen, according to physicist, after ten trillion years.

I must say after rereading those chapters, I can safely assume this is going to be the result on the "truth of the universe." I'm expecting to see the Germans again in this upcoming chapter. Unless Oku wants to throw that concept away for some Deus ex machina. Then I'd be done with this series.

Totally forgot about that fat girl.
So while Gantz is a man-made machine, it is true that the girl was just a messenger of the real creators.

-Was the message indeed from humans (from the future probably ?) (Think about the old classic Terminator)
