Kishimoto-sensei: There are still quite a few. Some characters who originally weren’t going to appear will come up again. And then, well, things are going to get exciting with Naruto, so please give me your support.

maybe jiraiya sensei is coming back
or perhaps the first hokage is making an appearance, could be possible with his cells still alive...

anyone else wandering what happend to yamato?

    Rikudou*

Well, if Rikudou does make some sort of appearance it will be in a message like form. He could've let some sort of projection with the Bijuu or something gets triggered when the Jubi appears.

Rikudou knew the beast would meet someone with the power to accomplish something he couldn't, and he also told them to give him their names, so i'm thinking that tied up in their some wheres about, is a pandora's box that can only be opened when certain conditions are met: genetically, naruto is a descendent of the rikudou, he seems to share the old man's ideals, and lastly, he's been given unfettered access to the tailed beast, something that hadn't happen since the old man himself all those centuries before.

maybe the old man's chakra was tied up into the beast as well, and that's what the beast gave naruto along with their names; maybe giving their names to this specific person under these conditions accessed not only the stored chakra in them, but the genetic identity of the old man that exist within naruto, even if, its a little bit of his dna.

How long can one fight take? All that is left is for Naruto to reconcile with Sasuke, defeat Tobi, win the the war, and live happily ever after. The only wild card should be that train wreck of a sub-plot involving zombie Madara. How does Kishi drag this fight out longer, is he going to turn Tobi into Naraku? Will he run away within seconds of being defeated by Naruto? Naruto has long since become Inuyasha at it's worst. Hopefully Kishi at least gets it over with and shows us dude's face. He's already dragged that shit out long enough.

Well, it's been about 6-7 months since Naruto started fighting the Masked Man and his Six Paths of Pain.

So a really, really long time.

Ha, no i'm afraid you're wrong. Naruto stands far above all others, and the fight isn't taking long, but simply, there's a lot of characters and settings and pieces and stories and an even greater number of resolutions needed to be petered out.

For us it has been months, but for them, but a few hours. I'm thinking though, with the exception of a few writers and creators, An American comic would have had its war and resolution within a few issues and that has always been what grieved me the most about American comic books. No development, no fleshing out, just hyuk, hyuk, hyuk. With the exception of maybe a few, but more specifically, Kirkman and his most awesomest of comics, Invincible (easily the greatest comic since Frank Millers original run on Daredevil all those years ago when I was a wee lad and Dixon and Aparo's run on Batman all those years ago).

he's in direct contact with the First Hokage flower tree clone thingy that's a literal clone, if only brain dead clone, but I suspect he's going to be that much closer to the first awesomest power, and may be the only one to combat Madara, or maybe the first exist in his chakra, albeit a copy of his consciousness, similar to what orochimaru did: the first chakra that exist within the clone, though brain dead, may have just enough particulates, or pieces there of the First to alter Yamato, hence doing a Kabuto/orochimaru 2.0 type up grade, or some other form of haxxxor abilities level 9000 upgrade enabling him to piss all over Edo Madara

And I thought Bleach was slow paced.

As for Naruto continuing, if it will go like this then hell no, Kaiten just about hit the mark by saying that Naruto is suffering the Inuyasha desease, and this war just about killed the characterization of every important character it displayed, except Madara.

So no, I hope Kishi lets Naruto pwn Tobi, Madara and Sasuke and let the manga end once and for all

.......i like inuyasha stop the hate :3

but in the end i hope naruto dose not make hokage....as he is not suited for the political part of being a hokage.

Quite a bit to be resolved yet imo. We all were fearing that bringing back sasuke might end up being as easy and stupid as defeating him in battle(we still do). But last few chapters have given us a reason to hope that kishimoto has more respect for his readers than that and is seemingly taking sasuke through a new direction. At the same time i don't think zetsu's role has finished yet. Madara and orochimaru are back, also karin is yet to play her role since her revelation about being a uzumaki and her escape. So still quite a few loose threads to play around with.

especially since Itachi gave Sasuke that big speech about learning to trust in others and no man's and island and yadda, yadday, yadday

Don't know why he'd be interested in dragging out the story far longer than required. We already know he's been at a total loss on what he wants to do with this series since the start of Part II.
