Okay, here's the thing: let's give the current contest more time so more people can join it. I think that not only Uts (Gumi xD ) might have missed the deadline^^' Meanwhile, let's see where the thread will lead us.
I was like, yup I still have a day left, I'll give it another 24 hours before falling back to using an old photo... aaand I missed it
Whoever (multiple of you) voted for tilt shift, thank you for giving me quite a bit of practice whilst playing around with a large number of photos on PS

Guys, everyone voted for the video contest theme? We'll end the poll this weekend for the new contest...
Keep in mind that we have to decide between Musical Video and Animation. Anyone who would like to express what's your favorite between those two, also please, tell us...
Oh, c'mon, and now you guys tied Vine as well? xD Trolls
Ok, everyone, we had to decide between Music Video and Animation... and I hope to see everyone giving their best with a short animation project!
( Especially you, Josef XD )
Good luck to you all!

Hey, everyone... I made a simple animation in a sig for this contest... if anyone would like to share the love:
I like that they show old techniques for creating animations (the phenakitoscope and zoetrope)... I'm actually thinking of trying those myself XD (they would be difficult to film, but can be an exercise for creating movement)
Rotoscope can be another way to go... If you don't have a refined sense of movement, is a good option and you can experiment with it...
Nice sig Nana, you might as well win the comp with this
BUT I feel outdone now because for the past 3 days I've been working on a similar animation to the one you just did
the animation contest is quite interesting. i can do some 3D with blender but this kinda came up at the bad time. i'll see if i have the time to give it a go (exams, nba finals, world cup and many other things)
Gratz, xará! xD You won the Photography contest^^ Awesome job you did withat the photo *-* Is that the street you work at? Both pieces were lovely, though. I think that was my fav photography theme so far xD They look so pwetty~
Gratz Nana ^^
Question!!!! So I've got all these frames but Windows Movie Maker is always running into the memory problem when saving/rendering the vid. I just couldn't get it working. Does anyone have a program recommendation where I can just dump all my jpgs and set their duration all in one go? I haven't tried my iMovie yet but it's a pretty old version and I don't think it can change everything in one go (too many frames to do it manually either...)
I think you can use Photoshop for that
It took me a while to understand how it works, though...
