Damn!... I dont see any piece of paper, but a little stone reaching Chopper. At least Law has a nice determination, and he seems to be sure of a plan.
it will be 2 l o n g w e e k s !
I'm pretty curious about Monet. I would say, in this chapter Oda spend some time drawing her with a pretty face. So much dedication... like if she would have to be for bigger things. Just a feeling.

About the devil fruit it seems Smiley died and thus a new axolotl fruit was made. The interesting part is that there's no Devil tree, the fruits takes over an already ripened fruit, cursing it. The question now lies in whether this happens randomly or if the closest fruit gets cursed.
Is anybody else getting "Pompeii" vibes from this chapter? Caesar's men are turned to statues who were burned from the inside out, their still forms standing in a wasteland with active volcanoes in the background: it's like Pompeii and the Vesuvius, I tell you.
I'm a bit disappointed we got rid of Smiley like that, I would have liked to know more about the abilities of its Devil Fruit, because this particular type seems like such a useless and strange fruit, being based on an aquatic creature and all. However, this chapter was very interesting in that it marked the first time we saw a Devil Fruit be made in the story, this is big stuff. Very interesting. Now I'm wondering if Blackbeard had an apple with him when he went under the black cloth with Whitebeard to extract the Gura Gura no Mi.
It's relieving to see that Law's still not worried, apparently. Everything's still going to plan. Bit saddened Chopper didn't get his big hero moment, but at least he didn't get wasted with Oda having him captured too or something. That's a plus. All in all, this chapter made up for the snorefest of last week, it's just so frustrating that we have another break now. I'm tired of them.
Also, who's talking to Tashigi on the last page, top left panel? With the coat it looks like Smoker (in Tashigi's body), but the head and glasses look like Robin. O.o

Wow that was really interesting . Is this how DF are born i wonder ? I can see the saga about DF commencing pretty soon . It was strange seeing a normal apple turning into a DF . I can't help but wonder if what we saw now is how it always happen when a new DF is born Then what about Ace DF . This is really frustrating . To think One Piece will be on break T_T
And about Chopper , i also didn't see any piece of paper , guess that was an invention but i think that rock was thrown by someone in order to stop him ....wonder who that person is
umm the paper(or stone) that was thrown to chaper appears to come from his front side. the person who threw it got to be vergo, master or monet, of course cannt be master. so its between vergo or monet, and im pretty sure that it was possibly monet. unless some other party shows up or kinemon's son is around.
This chapter had me confused. Is there a plan these two made that i somehow missed?
Still quiet an interesting chapter, i wonder where people got the paper DF idea from! That paper or w.e it was came from the room those guys were in. I personally believe its Monet. No one else there would do that. Unless they were just alarming Chopper or letting him know that they can see him.
nice chapter, things are getting faster,in some weeks the fights will take place and with this chapter it's clear how the 2 sides will be made of.
So, what was that DF? A new one or the one that smiley used to eat?
Who threw what to Chopper? Wasn't there a mention on the spoiler for him not to do anything?
Is the cage lifting? And why is Smoker not that worried? Why can't Franky break free from those chains? Are they Kairoseki as well?
It's time for a come back, nice! finally things will progress.
Wait, OP on a break again next week ?
Well I have to admit it was pretty interesting seeing that DF thing and the effects of the gas released by the Slime too... Other than that, nothing worth seeing/reading honestly
Honestly I didn't get what the new DF was all about.
My first instinct was that Smiley "dies" because and its DF is recreated since it died (Oda basically confirmed that DF respawn once the original user dies).
Since smiley is an object (poison) that ate the fruit and if the fruit respawns nearby then Caesar can create infinite Smileys again and let them explode all over again.
Also loved the Rob Lucci cameo on page 10.
It appears we will see many of the old characters during the course of the story again.
The other guys seemed to be new though.
A lot of questions have been raised. What was the deal with the DF? Did we witness the formation of a DF? Who or what was responsible for the stone? What is Law's plan? And most importantly, are we going to get to see the SHs ride the dragon? They seriously need a pet.
Hm, that manifestation of a devil fruit was interesting. Maybe the laws of new fruits forming is different for people than it is for objects? It would explain why it's only the Blackbeard Pirates who are currently hunting abilities from currently living users. Though I feel bad for whoever ends up eating an Axolotl model fruit. There's something not right about being able to turn in to an amphibeous creature and not be able to swim.
4 billion? Is it some translating mistake or luffy has omg reward lvl up?
Intresting chapter, finally some action will come in this arc. I believe almsot any of them could break free of those chains at once but there was CC near, so the effort could end in instant with all party being poisoned. Now they get their chance.
