Well I'm horrible at ranking, so I'll just smash out the ones I've been listening most to from 2012. I'm not really the album kind of guy. I take a song or two from albums and ignore the rest. There's really just one album I can think of that I enjoy 100% everything of and like to listen to the whole thing quite often (Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory). In addition I usually listen to <2012 stuff as I haven't really been up to date with the releases in 2012, so feel free to recommend. I pretty much like anything but most Metal.

Linkin Park - Living Things (finally a great LP after almost a decade of dry streak)
Band of Horses - Mirage Rocks
Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE (got to go with Gary here, this one rocked)

Beach House - Myth
The Neighbourhood - Female Robbery
Band of Horses - Knock Knock, Slow Cruel Hands of Time
Frank Ocean - Lost, Thinkin Bout You, Swim Good, Pyramids (these are my favs so far, but the whole album is pretty good)

Unknown songs:
All the Sand in all the Sea - Devotchka (it's 2011, but it's too good to ignore. Didn't have an "outsider" for 2012)

I dont know what to recommend. Have you listened to Jack White's debut, Blunderbuss? Or good kid m.a.a.d city by Kendrick Lamar? The latter is definitely my favourite album of the year. It has so many epic tracks like this.

Blizzard just made an offical comment that a Diablo 3 Addon already is in the works

Where? I see nothing on either diablo3.com or blizzard.com, is it a blue post? Either way it's logical that they would start work on it immediately since they are so slow with releases. First they need to perfect the game (what they're doing with these patches), then release additional content.

Mike Morhaime said something about the expansion during the Activision Blizzard Third Quarter Calendar 2012 Results Conference Call, but there is nothing new really. An expansion planned but no date. As usual.

During today's Activision earnings call, CEO Bobby Kotick revealed that Blizzard's Diablo 3 has managed to sell over 10 million copies so far. "Year-to-date, Diablo 3 is the top-selling game overall based on enough meta, digital and retail sales in North America and Europe. Diablo 3 has sold already in excess of 10 million copies," Kotick said.

Diablo 3 launched back in May, with 3.5 million snatching the game up within the first 24 hours. In North America, NPD stated that Diablo 3 sold one million retail copies across May. The current version of the game, 1.0.5, has been available since October 25.

Update: An expansion for the game is also in the works, Blizzard Entertainment president Mike Morhaime announced during the call: "We do have an expansion planned for Diablo [3], I don't have any timeline to talk about. I think the most important thing for us always comes down to the quality of the expansion and the gameplay, so that will be a big factor in terms of driving our schedule."
