I hope they keep the soundtrack.
I really liked this last episode.
To tell the truth just already in the manga the Naval Contest has been the best thing that happened in the tournament (without counting the special chapters), but in the anime this has been even better.
Infact even if unfortunately the anime changed the angle of Lluvia’s entry (in the manga Lluvia was drawn in front http://www.mangareader.net/fairy-tail/291/4, She is too cute here, I have take that pics as background of my deskop) they added some part of the fighting, but most importantly I really liked that Erza mention again that Lluvia don’t want to lock bad to Gray, and then Gray remember their conversations about Lluvia’s feelings for him).
Another thing that I liked has been what happened between Milliana and Risley.
Beside that the drawings were awesome, almost perfect.
This episode has been my second favourite episode, only after the fight between Lluvia and Meldy.
I think that was announced last month.
Can somebody help? what exactly does it mean (see below)?
A best of re-airing of old episodes in April... and someday new episodes?
News from tv tokyo
Best-of Fairy Tail Episodes in April?
and Mashima's twitter:
Again, he says it's not the end and we should watch the best-of while waiting? is that right?
Yes, that's correct.
Thank goodness. It's just a hiatus apparently.
I wonder how long we will be stuck with re-runs...
Hopefully, not more than 2-3 months...
I'd say at least half a year, and if they really want the manga ahead then probably more than one.
The Director already has a project in this upcoming fall at studio Satelight of 25 episodes so there is a possibility of 1 year until it's over.
Again, between hiatus and filler, it doesn't make the least bit of difference to me.
I understand that filler would be better for people who watch it and enjoy it, but maybe this way there's not the risk of the series getting cancelled due to dismal ratings for 1 year of fillers.
Now, hopefully they will keep the same composer.
There was another tweet from Mashima apparently saying it's not over yet but you still have to wait.
Hereupon it seems he tweeted in English "Anime is not the end. Don't stop believing"
Edit: Ah, here are the twitter links: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/new...s-not-over-yet
Although I couldn't really enjoy the fillers and OVAs ( especially the ones overloaded with fan service) while the movie could've been much better the manga and the anime adaption itself were really an emotional roller coaster for me. The story is by far not as detailed and logical as OP and thus contains quite a few flaws but it is at very least on same level of amusement - especially after OP's anime got worse. Furthermore FT's magic world is exactly one the I always hoped to watch and see not just read in a book.
So I hope they drop the filler concept and in some way continue to animate the manga.

So... How about, Mashima-sensei asks in the mean time another studio to make some nice RAVE series with only canon stuff?
Ep 172 stream
i have to say i liked the animation of this episode and it made me laugh
but next week the real thing is coming,by the preview it's seems it will have really good animation
The whole episode, and especially the part about how Ichiya and Nichiya met, really reminded me of Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. I wasn't paying attention and thought we got the DS battle this week though. That was probably the biggest disappointment for me. Other than that... Ichiya's one of my less liked characters, but I do have to admit the whole thing was funny.
