I can't get over how stupid Crocus Garden (where Sabertooth is staying) is colored\designed. It looks like a place Tarzan would prefer.

Beside, how long are they planning to stuff all those fillers in each episode ? It's being annoying. Had I knew this was the case, I would've much rather have a filler arc instead of them ruining the original story line with these stupid fillers. This fight shouldn't have lasted for more than 5 minutes at most.

Actually, seeing the battles get padding was exactly what I wanted, so I was pleased to see them adding on to Yukino and Kagura's fight.
That was an... odd way of drawing the hotel though.

You mean exactly as we got them just two/three months ago? Doesn't help much with long running series, the pacing of the first hundred chapters is only so good, because they had a huge amount of chapters left to adapt. Some of those fillers could come directly out of Mashimas mind though. :-P

It was a nice episode and I quite liked that little filler part; thank goodness that the drawings have returned normal (in the previous episodes they were awful).

This is really promising arc I hope the anime start meeting everyone expectation...damn low budget

Do you really think it's low budget fault? I mean they're giving promotional ova episodes to manga volumes and new opening after 10~ episodes. Now FT anime won't be the same as before. If they want to still have it ongoing they must keep in mind the pacing problem. Now probably most of episodes based on manga will get some added scenes.

last time i watched was the day they arrived at the tournament, i am skipping the filler episodes as i go so i am hoping they get in a stretch of canon episodes

i have watched ALL non-filler episodes so far, this is still one of my favorite anime's i just cant stomach some of the filler

But the canon started then. The filler being discussed isn't whole episodes. It's scenes from the manga that are being padded. And looking at the preview for today's episode, it all looked canon except for a split second clip that might be Gray having to listen to Lyon moon over Juvia.

Yeah, the are no full filler episodes, stuff like fan-service and elongated scenes are easily recognizable as filler material, but the fights are pretty much like in the manga.

I don't liked this episode.
Particularly about Yukino, I don't liked that they cut this part http://www.mangareader.net/fairy-tail/281/15, the fact Yukino prostates at the feet of Gemma (in the truth there would be even that they cut Yukino's boobs, even if that is more acceptable).
At least they did a good job with Gray-Erza speech about Lluvia's feelings, and that of Charle's flashback about the triangle love.

There was probably some concern about having her moon the audience, considering that Mashima used a text bubble to sensor her. They didn't show a full shot from the waist up either. Really, they avoided showing as much as they could, which isn't such a bad thing in my opinion. Fanservicy outfit filler is one thing, but a girl being forced to strip is another.
