Gringo is a remake of the Osamu version, did you read both and if, are they comparable? Horror survival does sound like a different direction.
A female hero in Gokusai? And that mangaka to boot, thanks for the reminder.
I've only seen this pic, now I finally learned the name too.
Got into Horimiya, cute drawings, funny and that pair and relationship has grown on me, thanks to the dad arriving! If someone hates the lack of backgrounds, this isn't for you.
I just tried the first 3 chapters of Hero Mask. The art style is kind of conventional, yet very visually appealing. And 3 chapters isn't much to go on, but it seems like it could be fun.
I love female heroes, Change 123 got a bit messy towards the end and Matsuri Special was more comedy romance than sports with no action. edit: Reading a bit further... a bit disappointed, but maybe it will come true some day.
I read the first volume of 'Innocent', by the artist of Kokou no Hito. The art was amazing and the story is much more intriguing than I even expected.

I'm now reading a classic from Ai Yazawa, I Am Not An Angel. I must said that I didn't really like Nana so I had some prejudice with this author. But this earlier work is a pure jewel of shoujo. The characters are so refreshing and fun. I may give a try with Gokinjo after.
Also I have taken the 3 books of A Chinese Story by Li Kunwu. I already read his second book The Binding Feet. His art is really great and his books give a good view of chinese life during communism and the evolution of the society during the last 50 years. So serious read but interesting.
I've just started the Musashi series by Eiji Yoshikawa. I was putting it off thinking that it was going to be sombre or self-important, but I'm totally surprised how humorous it is. I've only read 3 chapters so far, but I am enjoying it quite a bit.
I finally started reading Tower of God! It's my first webcomic/toon so it's definitely a new experience having to scroll down a lot.
I just started reading Samurai Papa. First chapter was cute and funny.
I also started Flag Time. I think the first 3 chapters should have been condensed into one shorter chapter, but it has promise.
Finally, I'm reading Girl's Ride. It's a nice shoujo ai about girls bonding over motorcycle riding, and I like the art.
I decided to start Yozakura Quartet because I am really excited for the upcoming anime, and want to read the first three or four volumes, which won't be fully covered.
I like much Nanatsu no Taizai, so I will begin Kongou Banchou by the same author. It has many good comments.
Me-Teru no Kimochi
Wingtip Cafe is translating an old adventure manga called Pygmalion. I am just at the beginning but I really like it so far. This was the time when shoujo were written by men so it's not really different from shounen. It's also quite funny to see the old design and the old gimmick. If you are into classic, it's a nice catch.
Gundam Origin v3 from vertical, best line so far has been the Its no Zaku! I wish it could be animated someday, up there with Gundam Wing for best Gundam.
anime for Gundam the Origin, Sunrise/Bandai will provide more details sometime in 2014 or 2015. It probably will come out next year, 2014 is the 35th anniversary of the original Gundam.
