You see I like this theory too and I still have hope despite the last chapter and believe me, I want this to be true BUT you can't really trust the databooks after chapter 599 everyone was in the same class as kakashi but almost no data match I don't know what Kishi was thinking..... You see if you want to watch Naruto you have to say this to yourself before every chapter: fuck logic

I can't believe I've never compared such data before. Damn. Great find. That would actually make an ass load of sense. However the last chapter kind of screws it for now, with Madara even calling him Obito himself. If he "made his brother's clone", it would seem naturally for him to call him Izuna. Or maybe not, we'll see. I still believe there's something more to him than being 100% Obito. Kishi could be further trolling, but he specifically made Tobi highlight 'I' in this chapter.
Sticking with Izuna is in Obito's body just like Orochimaru tried to get Itachi and Sasuke's body to obtain a sharingan. That will also clarifies why Tobi/Obito fought equally with Minato (after a year that he supposedly dead) because Izuna is already skilled Uchiha). Also, the story of Izuna was dead was just from Tobi himself.
Hey - did you also notice that Rin looked a little like Tsunade as well? Sort of like... an Uchiha and a Senju?
Great theory though... it would be very interesting to see how something like that unfolds. We don't know how Rin died, we don't really know how Izuna died, and for that matter we don't have a clear explanation or have seen how either Madara or Hashirama really died either. And then finally... I hope we get a good explanation of how Zetsu AND Danzou play into it all (I keep thinking of that scene where Tobi scoffed at Danzou, saying: "You want to fight me, Danzou?" and then Zetsu confirming that Danzou was no ally or friend of theirs.
Maybe Obito is one of Izuna's descendent.
Maybe he's his last descendent.
That would explain why Madara cared enough for him to save the kid.
And Kishi might have wanted to show that he looked like his great-grandfather Izuna by giving him the same height and weight...
Their MS is completely different visually. A replica wouldn't look different imo. A descendant of Izuna though, yes that could make sense but then were back to Obito not making sense ^^
so many people you could ress with the rinnegan , but one always choose to ignore it and kill anyone as a revenge
you know what ...i'm starting to think madara and tobi arent using the rinnegan ressurection because they are afraid of nagato suing them for copyrights
ya well he said rinne tensei was supposed to be for me ... and madara was surprised not to be ressurected in human form
There could very well be a connection yes... Also notice how Tobi gripped his arm when talking about Izuna. And judging from the latest chapter, it seems clear that Obito and Madara were collaborating for quite a while. I am of the opinion that Madara used Obito as his pawn in some way. Obito's mouth is different from Izuna's, however. Maybe his child? We'll find out more next week.
