I agree. The aliens only brought back the ones with sentimental value to prove their point.
There are excessive crying, and justifying. This can be done in one chapter, I bet, but the drag is making the situation feel insipid.
The old man and Reika were supposed to be permanently dead.. they even tied up the old mans story up in a nice little bow by having him transfer all his belongings to Kaze/Takeshi the night or whatever before he died.. wouldn't be surprised if he dies very quickly or fades into the background for the remainder of the series. Still, why write yourself into 'no more lives' if you're just going to write yourself back out of it 5 mins later?
I guess if the tagline or whatever said "they will not be allowed a peaceful death", it was probably referring to the old man. Poor guy. He's probably going to hurt again quite badly just for looking out for his friends.
Oku says he hates perfect people and he made Izumi as the perfect person in his eyes. But idk bout Reika maybe cause shes a 'hot chick' that meaning doesn't work but I guess her obsession of kurono made her not perfect lol?
WHY THE FUCK COULDN"T THEY BRING BACK INABA!!
God damn it man, this is perfect for him.
All this ranting and raving about there being no god, then this thing bring him back, only to fuck with him even more.
Oh Inaba, I miss your fail so much =(
@102jayday: he can't hate perfect people that much. just look at Kei! Practically flawless.
Kei was a teen that couldn't give a crap about anything but hot chicks with boobs. It seem like he liked getting in fights when he was younger too before the manga story happen.
Oku quote that he hates perfect people and said Izumi was his example.
Kei hasn't been that way since mission 2.
Izumi was a way of taking possibly the perfect person and knocking them down a few pegs.
It's hard to judge a psychopath/mass murderer as the perfect guy though.
Dino mission when he said who cares about people we need to get out of this alive. When the T rex and old with him. When the old man says words of encouragement to him and Reika yells it too I think thats when he started to change.
Remember he abandon all his class mates when the Chibi alien invaded the school.
Page 21 Kei looks awesome, well it looks like the aliens did what we thought they would. Awesome Kei snapped and is attacking them, I wonder if the other Gantzers who are bowing to them will fight Kei. Or I wonder if they can blow Kei up.
I'm sure alot of people will be happy seeing Reika die again but...I'm not that was cruel. As people would hate me saying this but I hope Reika gets revive, if this Kei still lives : (
lol at the bush censoring trick XD and the boobs to the face attack..
Knew this would happen but sad that Reika got a cruel death like that...

wow, that was really messed up. reviving them just to kill them off....just to prove a point. i was really hoping it was gonna be a permanent revival, not this.
i agree with 102jayday, i also hope that if Kei2 survives this, Reika gets brought back. but if i can guess, Kei2 is gonna die as well. at the very least, Kei2 managed to tell Reika that he loved her.
Reasonably predictable, but a nice scene nonetheless. It worked really well to see 'signs' of the damage, and then to cut to the scene of their insides on the ground once it was over.
Perhaps the best evidence for the god aliens argument is Kei's response. They can make him behave any way they want. All they have to do is produce the right stimuli.
Did Sei really say 'take care of Reika?' It doesn't look like that is the case.
hehehe, gotta love gantz.
So this is Kei 2's purpose.
Funny how so long ago I always thought he was gonna be fighting that blonde alien, and instead, this is where we are.
I enjoyed the ride.
I'd have just beheaded them before they opened their eyes.
Looked at the alien.
"Dude, I just wanted to say 'thanks' can I go now?"
Even the Devil in "The Exorcist" had more reserve not to flaunt his power so much. I'm sure this thing understands the concept "douche"

Not surprising at all considering what the aliens had just said about humans.
I can imagine Oku with a big shit-eating grin as he pats himself on the back as he was penning the ideas for that out, thinking it was somewhat deep or insightful.
