    Summary:

    Three homeless companions -- a runaway girl, a transvestite, and an alcoholic -- find an abandoned newborn on Christmas Eve while foraging through trash. Using clues found next to the baby, they fan out through Tokyo to find the parents, along the way confronting reminders of their own lives they have nearly abandoned.

    It's a special Satoshi Kon forum at the moment :-)
    I could see this one during the manga cycle in Beaubourg this spring and it is as great animé
    It is much more accessible than Satoshi Kon other movies in case you are not a big fan of his crazy world

    All of the great directors seem to use Ode to Joy huh? *cough* Kubrick *cough" Though I think I watched a movie that was based on Tokyo Godfathers, it was three guys there though, they were trying to kidnap the baby or something, a very similar scenario, the baby could walk on construction sites and stuff. The baby followed his story book to visit places. Does anyone know how Tokyo Godfathers is connected to this movie?
