Wow the Opening reveals quite a bit O___o looks pretty nice though
I guess they will stick to it for a rather long time.

And I'm really looking forward to the subbed episode

SID's great as always.... and I really gotta wonder about the crispness of the animation. I'm starting to think the reason why they can afford it is because FT's movie racked in enough profits to pay expensive animators for this series. That says a lot about A-1's success.

Wow, the first episode is REALLY good! And they did a really good job with the changes. They managed to pace through the first couple of chapters, fill all the important stuff that makes Magi Magi (one of which of course is the lovely Elizabeth<3), and the voice actors are awesome! Aladdin is the cutest thing ever, Alibaba with his inner demons is precious, and UGO-KUN IS MY MAN!!1 I didn't mind Morgiana being a damsel in distress in this episode. It will only further emphasize her badassness later on!

LOL I laughed when Ugo-kun knocked out Man-boobs' guards and dat music started playing. Aladdin's like "yeah UGO-KUN IN DA HOUSE *highfives!*" I love it

Overall, great first episode! The ONLY thing I didn't like was the Ending theme.. ugh.. perhaps it will grow on me... >.> Is it next sunday yet?

Wow, the first episode is REALLY good! And they did a really good job with the changes. I'm glad someone shares my opinion I was a bit worried that would skip too much but they included everything that's important. Even Elizabeth On a less serious note, this means

that they will animate the current chapters too. They knew Elizabeth appears again so they had to show her wishful thinking, I know

I still have to get more used to Aladdin's voice (even though I'm way more fine with it than I thought I would when I first heard the voice actor in the preview) but the rest is totally fitting and great. Animation was faultless, same goes for the soundtrack. Loved the one from the scene you mentioned, it had such a nice arabic flair

First episode did not disappoint, I'm cool with them skipping through some of the things in the first few chapters as long as they animate the great parts really well. The animation is so good, Magi definitely deserves it.

I honestly really didn't like Magi's voice when I first heard it in the PV, but it was good enough for me once I watched it. I guess it grew on me. Alibaba's voice was really good though. I loved the soundtrack too, really fitting at times, and awesome at other times. All in all it was a good episode, can't wait to see more.

Btw, the opening showed so much, I guess it's true, we'll get to see Judal and it'll reach the Balbadd arc.

I'm kinda disappointed with how they changed Amon's Dungeon design!
I still prefer the one in the manga...

As well as they didn't included the funny reactions of those people who were surprised to see Ugo-kun... but I'm really happy for that Alibaba's priceless reaction towards Elizabeth

So I'm new on this series and only watching the anime. So far, I love it. The animation was great and the story looks promising.

This is a kinda addictive manga and now we even have the bad habit of one chapter a day, withdrawal will be hard !
