After the current set of events have lined up can anyone besides myself seeing a second "Gaiden" portion from Kishi? But rather than explain Obito's past from the 3rd War and backwards, instead do an incremented 3rd War to the current storyline sequences.
It would be a good addition to this story if introduced that way; For the current line of Naruto Kishi doesn't even reference the past but instead finishes this War Arc with Obito/Madara dying , goes to the Gaiden, then returns for what could be a brief 3rd Entry to the Naruto story and its final Arc.
It would make sense by using Kakashi as the tie in. He was introduced early in P1 and has increasingly played a bigger role revealing his famous past, skill, name and now being one of the driving points to the foundations of the whole story. Kishi could then use Obito as another character like that from his early Part2 introduction and increasing role that is almost identical (not exactly but in principle) to Kakashi's.
Any thoughts? Let's leave plotholes or unexplained factors aside seeing as that could be information revealed in the Gaiden (example: until Kakashi's Gaiden it was assumed the scar on his came from the transplant when it actually came from an attack that wounded his eye prior to the attack)

Re: Gaiden II: Obito??
It would be awesome. I am hoping for a ton of spin ofs from Naruto too. My initial reason for liking Narto was that Kishi managed to create so many good character, in the end maybe too many because they couldn't all fit and you want to know more. In this case a Gaiden would fit the plot well.
Id also want a gaiden of all the Akatsuki members, Kakashis dad (hey, maybe hes the one who knows everything?), and all the Kages of the leaf.

Reason: *crossing fingers*
Kishi often said that, should he have the time, he would like to make a spin-off story regarding Yondaime Hokage.
I would like more a spin-off about Madara, how he became what he was.
Obito is meh, while Madara is still a mistery, he is the mastermind behind everything, we catched just a glimpse during Itachi's and Obito's storytelling, and by bit and pieces along the story.
How he raised the Uchiha to be among the strongest clans/armies in the world?
Who he killed to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan?
Did he and Hashirama had a bond of friendship spurred by mutual respect?
