Gon, Killua and Biscuit = Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura
Hunter Exam = Chuunin Exam
Genei Ryodan = Akatsuki
Hisoka = Orochimaru
Gon's Rock = Naruto's Rasengan
Killua's Izutsushi = Sasuke's Chidori
Biscuit's Strength = Sakura's Strength
Kaitou = Kakashi
Biscuit is Tsunade
Hisoka Orochimaru? I dont think so...
You should reverse the title and say Naruto=HxH. HxH did come out before Naruto after all.
^ Actually a creepy member looking for special talents in the exam, testing them and declaring that they have potential and they turn out to be members of a criminal organization but with their own goals which is to fight one of the members but eventually leave the organization.
Also: Zoldyck = Hyuuga A clan of people who are expert in hand combat and deal internal damage and the older family member scares the crap out of the younger one in the tournament exam not to mention Neji and Illumi both having no pupils.
Kurapika + Killua = Sasuke (KP and Sasuke are both members of a clan with special red eyes that get wiped out and now they are both avengers and Killua and Sasuke both are members of a prestigious family who are the same age as the MC and they both eventually leave and the MC tries to bring them back and they both control lighting powers
Bisuke and Tsunade are both in their 50s but change into a younger woman
Now many of you will mention ONE of these similarities individually and claim "yea well this is in every manga"...but put them all together and you'll see the point.
In Hunter x Hunter Forum the Title of my post is: Hunter x Hunter = Naruto
while in Naruto Forum The Titles of my post is: Naruto = Hunter x Hunter
Togashi was Kishimoto's sensei. He taught Kishimoto how to be a mangaka, so Kishimoto has similarities in his work to his sensei.
HXH and Naruto have similarities,it's normal because there are shonen manga, but Naruto's universe and atmosphere are completely different.
Well first off it's plain obvious with how the first saga for both series went by. Masashi loosely based Naruto's first few characters and arc off of HxH's world. Once the Yorkshin arc began the stories start to change in atmosphere. Not only in character development and plot but art. Togashi unlike Kishimoto early in the story developed a character as we know as Kurapika. Technically speaking the starting point of his character I believe came from Kurmama. Sasuke is basically what Kurapika could of became if he continued his revenge. However the main character is Gon and since we've focused on him. Ever since part II Kishimoto has focused his story entirely on Sasuke and Naruto parts here and there whilst Kurapika had yet to be seen in the story for over 8 years. If not for the hiatus it would have been three. Also there is interviews between these two including story art drawn where Togashi drew his version of Naruto for an anniversary of Jump and Kishimoto had his own version of either Gon or another HxH. Honestly the similarities are there but after the first two big sagas the similarities disappear. Not to mention our main character would eat Naruto alive at his age. You could say at 11 he has just as much experience as Naruto does at 16 if not more so it's scary to imagine his future.
Don't you ever compare HxH with Naruto. HxH >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Naruto.
wow its so cool that they are friends hehehe
2 of my fav mangakas all of time
Akira Toriyama (Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball) was influenced by Osamu Tezuka(Astro Boy, Black Jack)
Akira Toriyama influenced:
Eiichiro Oda (One Piece)
Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto)
Seishi Kishimoto (666 Satan, Blazer Drive)
Tite Kubo (Bleach)
Yoshihiro Togashi(Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter)
Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail)
Kishimoto was also influenced by Katsuhiro Otomo(Akira)
Mashima was also influenced by Hayao Miyazaki(Mononoke-hime, Spirited Away)
Kubo was also influenced by Shigeru Mizuki(Gegege no Kitaro) and Masami Kurumada(Saint Seiya)
Togashi's wife was Naoko Takeuchi (Sailor Moon)
Takeshi Obata(Artist for: Death Note, Hikaru no Go, Bakuman) mentored:
Kentaro Yabuki (Black Cat)
Nobuhiro Watsuki(Rurouni Kenshin, Busou Renkin)
Yusuke Murata (Artist for Eyeshield21)
Obata teamed up with Yumi Hotta for Hikaru no Go
Obata teamed up with Tsugumi Ohba for Death Note and Bakuman
Nobuhiro Watsuki's Notable Assistants:
Eiichiro Oda - creator of One Piece
Hiroyuki Takei - creator of Shaman King
Shinya Suzuki - creator of Mr. Fullswing
Mikio Itoh - creator of Nazo no Murasame-kun
Kawaguchi Yukinori - creator of Hoopmen

Yamada Kazushige - creator of Gran Bagan
Toshiaki Iwashiro(Psyren, Mieru Hito) former assistants:

Tamura and Naoki Iwamoto(Magico) are friends
Hideaki Sorachi (Gintama) former assistants:
Kenta Shinohara(Sket Dance)
Yōichi Amano(Author of Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden)
Kenji Sakaki(Enigma) was Akira Amano's(Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) Assistant
Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro(Toriko) are friends with Oda and Togashi
In a 2008 poll, conducted by marketing research firm Oricon, Oda was elected fifth most favorite manga artists of Japan. He shared the place with Yoshihiro Togashi, creator of YuYu Hakusho and Hunter × Hunter
It's amazing to think that Mangakas are friends and former assistants of other Mangakas.
Bakuman I think was base on this Author-Assistant Relationships and was also discovered by Tsugumi Ohba(Death Note, Bakuman)
And then the fictional mangakas were born:
Aoki Yuriko and many more Bakuman Mangakas

There are some VAGUE similarities between the two, but to say HUNTERXHUNTER = Naruto is pretty insulting. Naruto is as cliche as you can get in shonen, with the storyline playing out for the sole purpose of fan service rather than trying to be compelling or intelligent. HunterXHunter is logical while being original and unpredictable, you get excited by mysterious characters/places/abilities/events but there's enough realism in the design and the character's actions/thoughts to make it something you can connect to quite deeply.
