Full speed ahead!!
Our arrival at the Isle of Vol.69 is nigh!!
So basically just "Vol. 69 is about to release!" in a lame pun kinda way...
There will be an extremely important announcement for PSI Kusuo Saiki fairly soon (no date/issue given).

The special announcement for Haikyuu!! wasn't anything major. Just a couple of things involving the website:
1. Nekoma character profiles added
2. Nekoma wallpaper
3. A special illustration drawn by the author to celebrate the series first year anniversary
And there will be another project announced next week for the Haikyuu!! website.
probably a vomic or something unimportant like that...
Mmm guys does anyone know when V-JUMP gets leaked? I think its street date is like each 21th in Japan, but what date does it usually get leaked?
I just want to know more about Project vs J badly!! This issue should have some new info >,>
Vomics aren't "unimportant". It seems to be the first step in a series getting an anime further down the road.
It would not be that much trouble. Shueisha would outsource casting and recording the vomic to a production company, like Starchild Records, that handles voice talent and anime soundtracks. The production company would handle casting, recording and production of the vomic, and pay the talent. In exchange, Shueisha would pay a fee to the production company. If the manga is canceled (like Psyren, Magico, Enigma, and Kurogane), the fee is just sunk cost, acceptable loss for advertising.
animes are nearly the same. i would say that the advertise effect of those is more important for sheishua than the fees for licensing.
