With Onepunch-Man being a complicated one?

Some people want "new, new, new", while wanting to keep the "old" ones too? That's simply impossible, some newcomers have to go down to keep the winning ones alive. New series are easier to kill than those that have at least has set some kind of foundation stone for the future[characters, plot]. Good premises can easily turn bad though, look at Sensei no Bulge, premise: nice, development: no so much. Jump is still oversaturated with action series IMO.

It just mean that the update about what will be canceled and what is issue 9's TOC is not accurate, not only HJ is not last but not bottom 4 as well so we can also take with a grain of salt the cancellations and new series even though I'm less skeptical there...another thing which I hope is correct is that Shoukugeki no Soma is ranked 4 and will have a CP in the next issue.

Drawing OPM is very complicated. He often takes two weeks to draw 18 pages.

Might be because as it's not his own story, he must discuss things with ONE to know how to develop each chapters compared to the webcomic.

My sentiments exactly. This is just nonsense. Kurogane is a good series and it was getting better. While Cross Manage still survives. Ridiculous.

And other mangaka take a month for 30, that's really not saying anything. He could be drawing alone without assistants, have a bi-weekly contract, etc.

I wish we Europeans could get some form of digital WSJ here too. :'(

I don't know about the assistants, but he releases when he can. The series itself is weekly AND bi-weekly, the fact that he takes two weeks sometimes and doesn't others shows that he spends a lot of time perfectioning his drawings.

Whoa whats with the drop for Bleach? Oh well its been in a state of chaos since the end of the Aizen arc. I wonder if it will ever become a stable mid to high ranker in the future. That or the new series took more votes away from it.

Nice to see the top filled with new and old series.

It's Sad TOC for me, AK in 6 is something i didn't wait for...
But, it's just 1 TOC with the newbies doing well, hope the votes come back and AK stay where he belongs, TOP 3.

But at the same time i'm happy by kiruko-san and Naruto with 1st.

Re: Weekly Shonen Jump [2012-2013] - Discussion and TOC Talk - Part 4

Hmm, so according to the JUMP insider the first chapter from Hungry Joker had bombed. Still the editors decided to place it outside the bottom 5. Seeing how it somehow manages to still keep afloat for the moment (this is the third not-so-shabby ranking) I can't help but wonder if its results for later chapters picked up a little or if this is still only just the editorial department protecting/pushing it...

Personally, I also thought the first few chapters were kinda meh but ever since chapter 5 it's been actually kinda enjoyable. Nothing exceptional but your regular Shounen Action series.
