The "dream railway paradise entertainment" story is set in a parallel world where Japan did not privatize its national railways. Naohito Takayama is an ordinary high school boy who dreams of a comfortable future working for the top-rated Japanese National Railways. He is assigned as a trainee in the Railways Security Force full of odd characters such as Sakurai, a troublemaker who hates men. On top of that, an extremist group called "RJ" plots to privatize the Japanese National Railways.
This wasn't in my preseason list, but I still gave it a go as it aired.
Haruka probably have met Naoto in the past and knows that it's him that he met. That's the impression I got, at least from the line "You saved me again". I wonder whom Naoto admired, though. I hope she just vaguely recalls Haruka's memory and they are the pairing. Not a fan of Sakurai as romance interest.
Well, pretty much a fast introductory episode. Not much is known so far, about the work place or the girl who appeared in the end, who I assume to be their chef. Will go through next week's episode before evaluating the show's worth properly to see if it's just fanservice material (there were some real servicey moments in this episode) or if there is a story you can watch this for.
So far fanservice + hunting down criminals. The main char is a bit of a wuss and Sakurai seems to be 100% tomboy.
Even I prefer Haruka here because she is really cute, probably knows Naoto and is already or still into him.
Last but not least we have the retard of the group who is really fun to watch. He reminds me of a certain someone.
I don't know where this show is headed so I will continue to watch it for now.
For how much I like Haruka for her "assets", intelligence and cute personality, I must say that I like Sakurai more, also because in my opinion she has more sex appeal than Haruka, but maybe that's just me or my weak spot for red-heads. XD
Either way it was a good first episode, despite having a fast pace, but I guess it was inevitable.
I'm looking forward to seeing this team working together and fighting against the mandatory evil people. LOL
P.S: That's some lucky groping BTW, which came about through a very miracoulous falling (reminds me of Rito from To Love-ru.). LOL
That squad leader...
So our male lead already gets his firts promotion... Touching the boobs of both of his colleagues already and then this... Aki-Lucky...
Even Sakurai was rather cute this time.
Then again the action seems a bit forced if you ask me. Makes me wonder if we actually get a plot or just this kind of stuff filled with fanservice.
Well we will see.
Is it love that which I sense from Sakurai? She was really cute after the bombing incident and that just made her even more likeable at my eyes.
Besides our MC seems to be really lucky when it comes to have romantic moments with the girls; you lucky bastard! XD
As for the episode itself, the newly-formed team seem to be an excellent one and the protagonist has been already promoted, something which, however, he didn't wanted. LOL
Looking forward to watching the next episode.
Koumi isn't really to my taste, and I much prefer Sakurai.

If not for a harem route, I saw there being no reason to introduce Sasshou at all.
On the other hand, apart from next week being an obligatory beach episode, what's the point in introducing Kajima? Even more girls? I don't like the idea of a harem in this series.
Sasshou is better than the other two, though I doubt she has any chance. I don't think we will get any romance, so, harem is good. At least, there will be some fun.
And groping, probably.
There already has been groping, so you can be sure that there will be more. Isn't it ironic that one of the things that the Railway Public Safety Crew is supposed to stop, groping, has only been seen being performed by the MC?
I like that way of thinking
Well, maybe the underlying message is about the abusing of authority in railways.
I stretched my imagination quite a bit, as you can see.
Takayama-kun sure is a lady killer. XD
First Koumi, then Sasshou and at the end I'm sure that also Sakurai will fall for him. LOL
Oh sorry, I should have mentioned also Nana!
In any case, it seems like this anime will be about small cases being solved by our heroes, spiced by some hot fanservice, which I'll be gladly enjoy.
Looking forward to the mandatory beach episode!
Episode 5 is up. http://www.anime44.com/rail-wars-episode-4
Guess I have to add Noa to Takayama's harem. LOL
This episode was good only because I've got to see our beloved heroines in swimsuits.
As for the rest, there was the usual case to solve...
I do hope that some more serious bad guys will pop up sooner or later...
