Okay, that is something I would be scared of. Spindly creepy bleeding thing following me...

And Rin dispelled of it the same way he dispelled of the Leaper, the same way Yukio dealt with Toudou. But oops, his tail flew out. Poor Godai'in is losing his mind.

Now for a nice lunchtime chat with Renzou, Koneko and Bon. Izumo seems to be going "look at me and DIE, you male hounds!". Waiting for tranzalation there...

Well, look, it's Mr. Stable-But-Used-To-Be-Instable! And SHURA! And as usual, they bicker.

So Mephisto's chatting with Rin. And yes Rin, that room is weird. Oh my gosh, SO MANY MEPHISTO PANELS. When did this happen?!

Kahaha! Formal dinner setting and then the butler pours hot water for instaramen!

OOoooooOOOOOooooOOOOOOOHHHHHH! Mephisto is trying to piss Rin off! But what was the deal with making him get formally dressed?! Then he returned his sword. What is he plan---

Oh. Hai 'Maimon.

So... if I've got this right... Mephisto's kept Amaimon in this box for the two to three weeks of the Impure King & Kraken fights.

Somehow I start to lose composure seeing. a. flower. burst out of Amaimon's chest a la Alien.

Wait, it was all a dream? COPOUT.

Finishes with Angel, Shura and Lightning out on a mission. And I can't understand a damn thing. loool.

can anyone confirm this?
I saw someone on tumblr saying that in this chapter Mephisto says he's also known as Samael. I'm really interested in if this is true or not, since considering what I know regarding folklore/mythology associated with demons and angels it doesn't seem too unlikely (considering some sources brand him an archangel, while others plant him on the side of evil), but it does kind of seem too soon for a reveal like that, too.

Overall, we're still setting the stage. But Rin has a new problem: he literal fights with his life on the line. If his demon heart (sealed in the sword) is destroyed, he dies. This series has gotten rather morbid - that makes Kurikara a kind of Soul Jar. Meanwhile, Yukio heads to his medical check-up. I think it's the one that looks for demon-ness. Considering the Toudou incident, I look forward to the results... hehe... hehehehehe...

Shura's off being awesome in Russia. And SHIP ALERT! I call dibs on ShuraxLightning!

So we now have a confirmed number of 8 demon kings. Mephisto said he's 2nd in the hierarchy, does that mean he's the 2nd in command under Satan or is there one among the kings even greater than Mephisto.

holy shit we just had a ton of info thrown at us!!! we finally know who mephisto really is (i really wouldnt want to piss him off!!!) yet how is it that rin didn't realize that mephisto was a demon??? lol i love mephisto's house! even though mephisto said that he wants to protect assiah for some reason it just seems a little fishy to me. i mean in chapter four he did refer to assiah as his playbox (i think. my internet is buggy right now and can't load the chapter properly) can't believe that rin is so powerless when it comes to full power amaimon and just screwing around mephisto. hang in there rin! for some reason i think rin will just get more powerful as he learns how to control and harness his powers (and i think mephisto feels that way too) does the job mephisto have for rin include destroying the gehenna gate? rin was able to do it the first time no problem, but does that mean that Angel, Lightning, and Shura would have problems getting rid of the gehenna gate??? for some reason i feel this manga is seriously starting to follow the catastrophe that was the anime. a gehenna gate that looks like it was made by humans and a yukio that might have a positive demon test, sound familiar? i don't want to think that rin would die if his sword was destroyed cause that would just make me really depressed. something tells me its a little different for rin that maybe his demon heart would return to his body instead. wow looking back at what i wrote i'm kinda all over the place. sorry about that guys!

Now, now, it wasn't that Yukio turned into a demon that made the anime terrible, it was the events that led up to it that made the anime terrible. That and the total character derailment i.e. Satan being a total baby. I mean come on...

Considering how the manga's artificial Gehenna Gate is 10x cooler and feasible, it looks a lot more interesting. Yukio was always doomed by the story's set-up to be the troubled younger brother, with his past as a fraidy-cat. I don't think he'll ever have the same powers as Rin (or ever get that ridiculously awful green coat. Ugh, makes me shiver just thinking of it.) His problems lie entirely in his personality. Toudou will have a field day next time he sees him (since we've got Yukio in the "I want to surpass nii-san" mindset, it's a piece of cake manipulating him. Mmm, cake...)

Good physics sites? Just tell me what you're working on. You're starting AP physics, so you're probably at kinematics. For position - velocity - acceleration stuff, just do a lot of problems. It's mostly math.

Crazy idea from the shower: Mephisto outlined that a demon's heart is the only way a demon can survive. I think if Kurikara gets broken, Rin will die (whether by the destruction of the heart or destruction of his body if his heart is taken into his body.) So what if Yukio could hide half of the heart?

really like this chapter. I found it really interesting that yukio isnt attending his medical checkups hopefully it will get expanded more in this arc. I thought it was sweet that rin made a friend outside of the cram school and that he wants to help out to the best of his abilities. In general this arc is definitely going to be a good one, i think we can look forward to more mephisto showing up.
