Wow, they summoned Pac-Man.
And we didn´t see Rin being usefull at all, what the hell?
That was one weird power. I had thought that it would explode or just turn it into dust or something. But it turned out to be something like Pac-man.
Seriously?? at the end that genkidama just was a like pacman-virus?? well at least seems like teppei is going to fight the mastermind.
What a great positive surprise!!!
I'm very relieved because that ball is not just a generic power ball and without creativity.
And happy because Shimabukuru have managed to create a power befitting the theme of the manga.
Now is the question of how he will approach the appetite with other characters.
It was quite unexpected. Especially since most of us expected their joined attack to be something like Kameha-meha, but in the end it turned to be something unexpectedly fresh and it really fits manga's theme.
So Heavenly Kings are down due to exaustion and the effect of the Green Rain, but Komatsu is already running to help them.
And the most interesting part seemd to be in the end. Teppei seems to catch up to the mastermind, so in the enxt chapter we are going to see who it is. And maybe the fight will begin.
Monster Pac-man! Love it! Love it! I haven't even seen the translation and yet once again Toriko is my favorite manga this week (so far). Most of you already touched on the uniqueness of it. I'm also glad it wasn't just a giant energy blast. I'm glad Komatsu remembered that the 4K's were in the rain too and need the cure. Everyone else was just happy the Four beast was defeated. I wonder if Monster Pac-man left any meat for them to eat?
For some reason I get a bad feeling about Teppei meeting the mastermind. On one hand, we haven't seen Teppei fight all out yet with a fresh opponent. But on the other, if this guy can handle a beast that all the four kings together had to unleash a secret move to defeat, then I hope Teppei has some back up coming soon.
On a side note, I hope Coco figures out the antibodies for the Green rain...or better yet, use it in a unique way as one of his own moves.
Thank god it wasn't Kamehameha style, I'm glad
A nice chapter indeed, I liked that attack, it was truly original and faithful to the manga theme too
And now, it seems Teppei found the guy who revived the Four Beast, this is getting good
I'm all but certain it's Joa at this point, two different shadows in two different chapters that imply it. I honestly can't think of anyone else who it could be. To introduce a completely new character would make this whole arc seem rather random, since introducing the whole 4 beast dynamic AND some brand new mastermind out of nowhere would just feel like a forced storyline despite how cool it was lol.
I was really disappointed last week when they started to make that energy ball. But after seeing that pacman thing, I was really relieved.
Very very unique and I agree with you all that it fits the theme of this manga. I hope it left some of the beast's meat for the Kings to eat.
In the last page, was Teppei smiling?

If it's Joa that moves him up the ladder for me. The guy was already reportedly extremely skilled, but to have been around for such a long time, control such a strong beast he's a chef possibly stronger and more skilled than Setsuno and up there just below Ichiryuu and Midora.
I doubt that Joa is stronger than Setsuno. Well, in Ice Hell Arc Alfaro from Bishokukai effortlessly managed to desintegrate two beasts with 80-90 capture level in a blink of an eye with his plates, but when Setsuno came she didn't even need to physically fight him. Just with Ikkaku Knocking she managed to break his plates to pieces and he accepted his defeat, so I do believe she is at least as strong as Chiyo-san (ex-partner of Chin-chin).
Well, if the guy is Joa it might be interesting. I don't know how strong he currently is, but I'm sure it won't be an easy fight for Teppei, but still Teppei is very strong. Even in Ice Hell Arc he was capable of fighting 80 level of beasts quite easily, so I believe he is conciderably stronger than Zebra now.
By the way, he knows how to remove the poison from a poison potato, which is supposed to be a pretty big deal. Considering the fact that the Four Beast was able to create gourmet world poison, him being the mastermind of such a thing would mean he definitely has experience with high tier poisons above even Coco. And also, why is he a dark chef again? What's that supposed to imply about his methods.
