This one looks like a great chapter!
More mystery about the moon boy and some flashbacks!

And I'm happy to see that Isma is on the deck with them.
Maybe she will stay with them for the rest of the adventure!

That would be nice, I find her funny, and it's cool for Ishidoro to have a love interest (although, there's still Schierke as well, I guess).

I didn't read the whole thing because I'm lazy, but this is the long and short of it:

Casca's acting like she's looking for something and they can't figure out why, then Puck realizes that the boy is gone.
Sheirke can't sense his kido on the ship, and he couldn't have fallen overboard because the mermaids would've saved him.
She says that it's a full moon just like when the boy first appeared, and the full moon is when magical/fairy forces are at their peak.
She suggests that the boy may be a servant sent by King Hanafubuku...or perhaps an incarnation of the King himself!! bum bum!
Skull Knight talks to Guts and tells him that what Guts wants may not be what Casca wants (i.e. getting her senses back).
Guts can't shake the idea that he can see branches spreading out on the moon

Well the title of it is called "Falling Star". I think we should have already made progress from the mermaids and stuff on to Elf Island. I do hope this finises the Sea God arc for good, because before the flashback chapters that seemed like it was the end of it. But I guess Miura has to get more speculation about the boy going.

I always thought that the boy is Guts and Caska's child, somehow revived but meh
One thing I found more interesting is that it seems Guts is reaching his limits with the armor already, his sight is getting worse it seems... I guess he's gonna get some powerup in Skellig Island or something like that, he can't keep up with that armor anymore

Guts could end up like Skull Knight, unless Casca becomes his only true link to staying human. This kid is still mystery, but an interesting one.

Glad to see a new chapter of "Berserk" on it's way. It's been 2 loooong months. lol.

Well October 26th it is then, we got now clear evidence as to how Miura will go this time around. Let's just hope we always get a date from now on at the end of the chapters.

Farnese seems to be liking Guts more and more, I wonder if another brawl is set for the ship between Serpico and Guts. I really think some sort of twist is in order before we get to Elf island. All of the characters each have something that they might do to shift the whole story. Be it love or even the foolishness of Magnifico.

It was only speculated that, they aren't sure of it nor we are.

I remember Griffith talking about the kid a while ago, even having it near him (I could be awfully mistaken tho, my memory always fools me) anyone knows what chapter this might have happened? I'd love to re-read it.

About the boy I firmly believe that is Casca and Guts son.

After all the history related to him:

- First the demonification, Casca womb was used in a similar way to the one we saw in the fake behelit creator of Ganishka for the evil soldiers. Something similar was shown with the trolls and the captured women when Shierke was introduced.

- Second he still professes love for both parents (especially Casca, probably because she fed him firstly?), we saw that in the small cottage near the sea (awww: http://www.mangareader.net/96-1148-4...hapter-28.html ).

- Third, the reincarnation when Griffith when he used his body.

I think that now is God-like, thats why he can use these channels. He is not alive or dead, like the Skull Knight, also he probably is now the Falcon of Light as opposed to Griffith being the Falcon of Darkness.

Plus, now I think that all this was probably all planned by Idea of Evil as the final plan, as ultimate Evil for God Hand, who are also human in essence (because Idea of Evil affects every human, except the ones that are not born human? I don't know).

As a side note, now Guts CAN SEE THE CHANNELS of the moon, and I think that nor Shierke nor Farneze can!! Is this the result of endure a battle with a god? Has trascended another layer?

PD: Has Nosferatu Zodd (silhouette of Zodd?: http://www.mangareader.net/96-1148-4...hapter-28.html ) some kind of knowledge/spy mission about all this? Sure Griffith suspects something.

Griffith has never to our knowledge met Guts son, he is aware that it is inside him because it become one with the egg of the world that rebirth Griffith, the baby was dying so maybe it got a kind of rebirth because it did affect Griffith when Caska was in danger.
It's obvious of what Skull knights warning to Gut about Caska, even Guts pictures that terrible site. Caska was almost broken and then when the eclipse happen it was something she does not want to think is real and remember it. She prob does not want to be her old self because she became like that because of living with the hawk and Griffith. Griffith destroyed everything so there is nothing for the old caska to live for unless she wants her and Guts to stand side by side serving Griffith again. But Guts for the good started to change her, I think she would of left the Hawk if she felt that Griffith could stand on his two feet and do his same old same old greatness appeal.

Hmm branches...I wonder if anyone else thinks of Yggdrasil the World tree/Ganishka? It would be interesting if the moonlight boy could use the tree to come back to Falconia, that is if he's indeed Guska aka Griffith's vessel. Now that would be cool.
