Fullbring allows the user to manipulate and boost souls. Shinigami focus on tapping the power of the own soul. Hollows power comes from their lost heart, which becomes their masks. Quincy all use the Quincy cross to make their bows:
It seems Fullbringer's are the only ones able to use fullbring on multiple different objects. The seems Hougyoku to be able to use fullbring to it's fullbring potential.
Well, my impression is that shinigami and hollow powers are remarkably close to each other. Wouldn't the power from their souls and the lost heart of the hollows in principle be the same or similar except that the power takes a different form? Perhaps we could even say shinigami draw their power from within while hollows have that power ripped out of them and wear it.... This logic would perhaps explain why shinigami and hollows can potentially become hybrids, they are simply not significantly apart to begin with, for a soul becoming either is a real possibility.
Fullbring does seem to work completely different from either of the latter though. Even though fullbring is in fact some form of hollow derived power it does not seem to be related to the inner or innate abilities shinigami and hollows have. Fullbring works by depositing memories into an object which has some vague meaning to you and then using those memories to bring forth some ability which the soul of the object acquires. Based on what we know a fullbring isn't set on stone as are shinigami or hollow abilities which are held by those since they are born, it seems that if the memories and object varies different abilities could be obtained. Interestingly it also seems like ichigo's hollow powers were enhanced and strengthened by his acquisition of fullbring taking in consideration his new armor and zampakuto form. Its like his basic forms are partially hollowified to begin with. Even more interestingly his bankai further enhances his armor and taking in consideration the chapter where ichigo is trapped and trying to escape kirge's cage it seems he even has one more transformation left. His zampakuto releases have had an effect on the armor he now wears, it would be interesting if a potential final hollowification would have an effect on the appearance of his zampakuto. Another thing would be what happens if ichigo is able to use his potential hollowification without bankai. It would mean he would have an entirely different hollowified form while in shikai and bankai and theoretically with a sealed zampakuto (even though he can't seal his zampakuto).
Quincy abilities are the biggest mystery here. The first part worth considering is that the basic abilities ishida has displayed are not innate to him but rather they are all acquired traits learned by practice. Even the quincy cross was used by arrancar. In turn what is interesting here is the abilities which vandereich has displayed but ishida hasn't. While ishida does not have any personal special abilities the opposite is the case for vandereich. All of them have unique abilities which seem to be independent from their basic quincy abilities. From the Loyd and Hoyd explanation we even know for a fact that quincy abilities are or can be innate since they were born with theirs. The question here is precisely the origin of these abilities which seems obscure.
If the quincy are born with their abilities then it means they are innate. Innate abilities are basically what shinigami and hollows have. So perhaps quincy abilities are the same as shinigami and hollow abilities except that the channels are different? Basically they channel their abilities through some other mean other than a zampakuto and get a similar yet different result. I do wonder if perhaps the special abilities we have seen from the quincy are actually some form of fullbring though. It would make sense with the quincy being human and it would explain how varied their abilities are. Quincy like shinigami ultimately have some relation to humans so their powers could easily have something in common with other races as seems to be the case with shinigami, hollows and fullbringers.
The last important detail regarding quincy abilities is the holy cross. Ishida and apparently his dad use the cross to create standard bows and arrows. In turn the vandereich quincy have a different approach. Rather than using a simple bow and arrow they incorporate the holy cross into a personal weapon which results in a combination of a bow and arrow with the object in question. Kirge had a bowsword which shot six arrows, bambieta has a sword which she could presumably use in a similar fashion to kirge, . Driscol went the opposite way and simply uses a spear like holy arrow though so perhaps even the holy cross does not necessarily create only bows but rather the shape is subjective. Hoyd showed he could use the holy cross without his sword (the actual juha made a bow with his sword) which perhaps suggests that all quincy can have up to two types of holy arrows, those combined with whatever weapon they have and the standard holy arrow they make solely with the cross.
We know that fullbring is based on hollow power. Chad said his power is close to the one of hollows (http://www.mangareader.net/94-714-3/...apter-260.html), for example.
Quincy power could also be related to fullbring (there's already a theory about that somewhere).
So we get:
soul -> shinigami, hollow (opposite poles of the same power)
hollow -> fullbring (=guincies?)
Yeah..I don't think so. If Fullbring is the origin of all power seen in the series, why it's so "shallow"? Kugo stole Ichigo's Fullbring, but all his FB powers were just the superficial layer of his power.
