Re: Who do you think is the top five strongest Nen users

Are you saying that Illumi is worse than hanzo, bodoro, and the like?

Nobody gave a damn about Hisoka and Illumi. It was only that crappy talent hunter who made hunting Hisoka and Illumi the centerpiece of his campaign. It's probable that the strongest hunters (in terms of fighting ability) can't be bothered/dont desire running for political positions.

The thing that did annoy me about the Election Arc is how easily Hunters are swayed like the average person. I thought it was ridiculous how Leorio got elected for sentimental reasons rather than any particular merit-based ones. You would think that pro hunters are objective and logical but apparently not.

No, Hisoka's motivation was "getting many perks, like benefiting from all public services services without paying, being able to pawn the license if he ever needs money, getting all the intelligence he ever needs just by going to the Hunter website (this one is obviously the most important), AND kill people without having to bother with some weaklings trying to capture him". All this makes taking the exam more than worth it.

No, not at all. We've always known that only a small percentage of Hunters are really good in terms of fighting skills. Even people like Squala or Basho were considered good enough to be hired by a powerful mafia family, so they're obviously at least somewhat above average. That's how weak the average Hunter is. Most Hunter jobs don't require to be exceptionnally strong to accomplish. Even the weakest Blacklist Hunters can deal with the most dangerous "normal" criminals, like Johness the Dissector for example.

The organization only values powerful and doesn't care about character at all, and it's basically a corrupt organization. Within the Zodiac there are at least 3 guys who can easily defeat Ilumi and Hisoka (Ging, Pariston, Dragon) because otherwise it's absurd to be talking about fighting over a guy who is supposed to be Netero's biggest mistake if the guys fighting over this can't even defeat a guy like Hisoka, whom Netero paid no attention at all during the exam (and Netero gave Ilumi a very low score in his placement in the final round and I really doubt it's because he can't tell how strong he is).
Netero did pay attention to Hisoka during the exam. He let his guard down during the interview because he knew it would make him lose his calm. And even assuming he didn't...so what ? Was Netero supposed to give him a badge "I acknowledge your strength" ? And Illumi's ranking doesn't mean anything. Netero gave Gon and Kurapika a higher score than Killua, who was much stronger than them at the time. He said his ranking was mostly based on charisma. "Gittarackur" received a low ranking because he never interacted with anyone outside of Hisoka, and nobody gave a crap about him. And Pariston is not supposed to be "the Chairman's biggest mistake" because of his strength (not that he's not strong, we don't know that yet, but the rest of the Zodiac can definitely handle him if necessary), but because of his political influence, his intelligence and his deviousness.

Surely nobody thinks Palm is actually strong enough to defeat Biscuit, but this is basically an epidemic at the high level Hunters. They might all be incredibly powerful but nobody wants to risk their life when someone else can do it. If the Ox was so convinced that Pariston was evil incarnate, why didn't he just kill him and resign his post from the Zodiac? Because even he, the conscience of the Zodiac, apparently didn't want to give up a cushy job at the Zodiac to fight a guy whom he was sure is pure evil.
None of them cared about Hisoka and Illumi. The Zodiacs were dealing with the Election, and Hisoka and Illumi were not disturbing the Election, so they had no reason to worry about them.

Re: Who do you think is the top five strongest Nen users

Well, it's very clear that Netero was teasing Hisoka and I already explained why before. And about the Hunter organization, I think it has been established that they are a bunch of weaklings, it's normal because you don't need to be a strong fighter to be a Hunter Pro unless you are something like a Black List Hunter.

Togashi used Hisoka to show us the strength of characters. His toy list explain a lot of things. He also said himself that many Hunter Pros are weak.

The strong Hunters are: Zodiacs, Seirin Group, Illumi, Menchi, Buhara, Satotz, Biscuit( we can see she is not in Hisoka's list because he didn't see her true form, nice move Togashi). Hanzo is here too, he was the strongest non Nen user during the exam and he mastered Nen easily, he must be one of the strongest Hunters now.

Bushidora a Single-star Black List Hunter has been fodderised by Hisoka. We can trust his judgment.

@kenosecon: Let's suppose Ging is in the top 5 Hunters. The strongest humans Nen users who are not Hunters are Chrollo, Silva and Zeno, Maha probably but we didn't see him fight. Don't say me he can't rivalize with them.

Razor said Gon inherited Ging's talent. It means Ging is as talented as him or even more. He is an experienced Hunter and is recognized as a strong fighter. I am very confident he is the strongest Zodiac.

All Zodiacs are strong enough to beat Hisoka, who can himself rivalize with Chrollo, Silva or Illumi. Gon is talented as one in ten millions and Ging is at least as talented.

The only characters I can imagine stronger than him are Maha, Beyond Netero and Seirin Group members( that we don't know yet).

Re: Who do you think is the top five strongest Nen users

@demonspeed no the zodiacs are weaker than hisoka... he said hunters were so weak that he should kill all the zodiacs and be over with it... sorry if the kids translating it did a bad job.

@the other guy who always argues with me
no, ging is not the top five nen user, he is the top five hunter. go look for ging‘s page at the hunter guide. it says so in very huge letters.
If you use logic it‘s impossible o know who is the strongest nen user in the world as the world is huge and there are many users unaccounted.
