First Round 18.
C...co...COBY!! Why is this so hard?
Well, it's no brainer. Usopp wins.
Usopp managed to fight Luffy in Water 7 to some degree and it was way better than what Coby showed in the same Water 7 against Luffy.
And after timeskip Usopp got considerably stronger and versatile than before, so he obviously takes this pre-timeskip Coby with quite a comfortable margin.
Ussop is more versatile now with his pop greens, he can set up a whole lot of traps. He's always had extremely high damage resistance and Coby doesn't pack a punch big enough to dent that. Pre-timeskip it could've have been a longer fight but the new Manssop is a much smarter and stronger man. Plus: Impact Wolf.
The picture is from Sogeking, and not from Usopp, please change it :P
Usopp became really strong during the two years, and I am sure Coby too, but until he doesnt get to CP9 level, Usopp will win this fight.
His plants and dials in the right combination are too much to handle for Coby, because Usopps attacks are unpredictable. I am really surprised that Usopp came so far, he even won his group with Doma, Bege and Vasco Shot.
Yeah...he really became a man :')
Not really sure what advantages Coby would have over pre-timeskip Usopp, much less the new pop-green powered Usopp. Go Sogeking! I think its great that Usopp will make it to round 2 while Zoro got ditched in the prelims.
Usopp, where?.. I only see SNIPER WARRIOR SOGEKING!
Anyways Coby can't defeat Usopp, maybe at close range but Usopp would never let him get that close and even if I see an inpact Dial (or whatever) being used.
Usopp defeats Coby quite easily...
Even with his CoO Haki, he hasn't been seen applying it in battle yet, in fact it just left him shocked and scared... more of a weakness than a strength as last seen
Soru speeds are tricky, but a smoke bomb/flash dial combo will blind Coby, allowing him to shoot the flame bird or the exploding skull grass... it's over for the Coby
Coby is stronger than Usopp, but who cares logic, Usopp wins.
Well, Coby isn't stronger than Usopp. If you believe that it is logical, then present actual facts that noone can see.
Going by manga facts Coby not only never defeated anyone, but he also showed only a bad vertion of Soru. That's all he knows, while Usopp was shown taking down opponents pre-timeskip who would make a fodder treatment on Coby and now Usopp got several times stronger, so according to what logic Coby can win against Usopp?
P.S. As he is now Coby can't win against any of Strawhats crew.
I think Usopp takes this one. He's always been clever, and now after the time-skip he has shown strength to back it up.
Coby may have been training his Haki, but unfortunately we haven't seen any results of that. Plus, I think Usopp's new use of pop greens is a dangerous enemy for users of CoO Haki, because you can't read Usopp's attacks easily - the plants have minds of their own. Plus, we haven't seen all of Usopp's new bag of tricks. And by this point, Usopp has waaaay more actual battle experience than Coby.
Coby with a settle mind dodge a straight punch and Usopp falls for just one hit but, so what i just meant was that by pure strenght Coby wins but Usopp certainly wins his fight not by strenght but strategic, he will defeat Coby eitherway.
I think this is a lot closer match than people seem to think. Coby is most likely stronger than Usopp, plus he at least has Observation type haki. I think the victory goes to Coby, or would, once we see what he is capable of now.
Wait, is this post time-skip Coby or pre? I have no idea what Coby can do now but I'll still give it to Pink Haired Coby.
