...she whom was watching from the sidelines...
Does anybody else feel the same way I do?
I'm honestly confused at this strange phenomenon that i have. I am rather interested in seeing not the heroine, but the secondary female lead in many anime and manga stories. She, who has to bear the tears and quietly move on with some new enlightenment to make me feel all the more despair. Honoka from Suzuka. Anyone cept Tenma from School Rumble. Yumi from Kimikiss. Noe from True Tears. Ami from ToraDora. But this isn't to say it happens every time, i am happy for Ichigo 100%, Midori Days, and a few more.
But in most love polygons, I can't help but feel sad for their happy ending.

You are not alone my friend. I, too, am a sucker for minor and obscure characters.
Yeah that is true. It's often the one you don't get to know that well you get more interested in, rather than the heroine you follow all the time.
But that's just me
Oh, I feel like this too, sometimes!!
That's not only a weird complex of my entangled and complicated brain, then... XDDD
yea that may happen to mean some times youy always wanna know if the sub caracters will be happy in the end soooo yes that happens to every guy who has readen a few manga's
There is always someone who fell in that category... (I mean in manga world)
Sometimes when a manga ends, even though it has a happy ending I wish it would keep going.. I think it bugs me that I cant read more about my favorite characters..
That's why I think there should be more things like Clannad: Tomoyo After. I mean why not, they get good reception for these right?
Well... Bleach would be a pretty good example for side characters to be extremly popular... Shiro-chan and Byakuya-sama >>>>>>>> Ichigo in my honest opinion (rofl)
Which girl in Bleach counts as the heroine and which is the heroine. I haven't been able to figure out in years. That True Tears could have the nerve to make anyone but Noe the love interest was fail. Still a darn good anime/game but Noe made the series.
Personally I just treat both of them (Orihime and Rukia) as the heroines... but otherwise I don't care much for either one of them except for pairing purpose (rofl)
The female side characters, Tatsuki and Nemu are my favorites... While we all know that Kubo's (the author) beloved being Rangiku
i'll agree with this, but only for some series (as a rabid fan of beauty is the beast i can't help but be paying attention to the side characters more than eimi and caring about their romances. mainly because eimi's is a big letdown)
lol... Eimi isn't that bad as a heroine. If you think she's underwhelming, then the heroines from English School Wars and Beauty Honey would be... even more of a let down.
I stopped caring for Niko (of Beauty Honey) after 2 chapters, and that says a lot. (But the other women in the story had styles... )
Matsumoto-sensei's new series is a bit... *cough* wierd *cough* But I've only read chapter 1 (which came out in last month's LaLa), and might give it a bit more time.
oh she was a great heroine, just fell flat in the face of a final decision that i'm not fond of (mainly because i'm far too much like the character that loses out)
Matsumoto has a new series? :O
Yep, it's kinda surprising, too, considering Beauty Honey ended just not long ago...
It's called "Bouzu Love" (Bouzu is Japanese for Buddhist Monk).
(I'm waaaaaay OT right now.... lol...)
Anyway, back to topic! One Piece is one of those which I have no clue who the Heroine is (Nami or Robin? :P)... but I'm pretty sure I like Vivi more than either one of them (lol)
Also, for Neuro, Aya Asia >>>> Yako
