Black Cat!!! Awesome manga, I felt that it actually had a lot more potential to keep on going, maybe a sequel with Eve as the main character. But yeah, definately my favourite from both old and new series in WSJ.

For me at #1 its DBZ No doubt! Since its because of it I Got interested in manga in the first place... Lets face it without Dragon ball Z many of us wouldn't Even know what's a manga. Its pure GOLD... can't find a word big enough to describe it XD, Anyone who's really followed this serie from begin to end knows what I'm talking about. I gotta give Props to this master piece. Nice work Akira toriyama !

yeah, Black Cat is one of my favorite!! I bought'em all and thought it was good!

DBZ...I kno.
it'S like the GOD of manga. lot's of the authors became a manga writer because they read DBZ!! I don't have it but I read'em all!

For me, it has to be One Piece. I absolutely love this manga, and I am always excited to see what happens next. I know some people don't like the art, but I love it. I also love the fantasy that is involved in the entire story, whether it be giants or the concept of Devil Fruits. Action, comedy, and drama, One Piece has it all. I guess, I shouldn't expect anything less from a man who idolizes Toriyama.

I just realized I could've voted for more than one. The other one I would have voted for would've been none other than Dragonball, for essentially the same reasons as Adament Dragon stated. But alas, I find pirates more awesome than aliens .

ONE PIECE!!!!I like it because of the adventure element it has.It also has a cool fighting scenes and there are a lot of stomach tickling comedy even in the middle of the action,not to mention OP is the only manga that has many flashbacks that can move my heart(but I never cried,really!).And what make me to want to read this manga is the concept.Sometimes reading One Piece story felt like an RPG videogame mixed with a pirate theme.
Thanks to One Piece,my opinion about a pirate changed and give more respect to them.

Ehehe,actually REBORN! is my 2nd favorite manga,the closest one to One Piece.I'm using Reborn avatar and signature to promote Reborn! in this forum.We at the Hitman Reborn sub-forum is trying to get REBORN! more popular enough so it can get the attention and treatment the same way with the other 5 mainstream mangas in this site(One Piece,Naruto,Bleach,Eyeshield 21,and D.Gray-man).
But One Piece is still my No.1!

i don't know if you count Monthly Shonen Jump/Jump Square, but if you do, my favorite would be Angel Densetsu by Norihiro Yagi. It has everything that makes a great shonen manga great.

if not, then i'll go for Hitman Reborn.

i'll await the decision before i cast my vote.

ROOKIES was the best Shonen I've ever read. Why so? I've already praised it so much when I wrote a review for it . But I'm gonna say the artwork a manga is created has been what firstly attracted me to pick what to read - and in ROOKIES, it was so awesome and neat. ROOKIES...yup another great manga
I didn't read it but I watched the TV drama in Japan.
It's was great!! I love baseball so it was a good story for me!
I will try reading the manga when i have time!!
