I definitely would think Death Note would be have a much greater lead if it were an option. I sincerely hope that people realize that it would be covered by the option "Other" in this poll. A lot of times popular things that aren't expressly written as an option in polls are just assumed to not be there, and people just don't connect that "Other" covers there choice.
Also, please no more posts that only state who is in the lead. Threads are for discussion, and people have the power to check the results of the threads on their own. So, unless you have some commentary to go along with the poll score update, just don't post it. Such posts will be treated as spam and deleted. ~ Tsukisama

Re: BEST WSJ MANGA!!!
I couldn't decide on just one series...
* Dragon Ball opened my door to the world of Manga - So it'll always have an exceptional position (Plus it did a lot for the spreading of Manga and it set certain standards in the world of Shounen Manga)
* One Piece is imho on its way to become the "new Dragon Ball" when it comes to popularity. (DB is still another league but one should never forget that OP will run for another couple of years, that's for sure.) Plus E. Oda is such a likeable person [from what we can read in interviews) and his imagination is hard to outpace.
* Last pick goes to PTF! Jaguar since Kyousuke's humor is just...strange and abstruse and - to put it simple - amazing. It's the best piece of comedy I've read so far.
either OP or DGM for it's unlike any other sj mangas , rookies were good and so was slam dunk but it wasn't spectacular ,i voted DGM since so few voted onit but i might have as well chosen One Piece, it's apity most series are crap now ;/ ( i don't know even why they continue stufff like bleach.......)
Maybe I'm biased, as a member of a scanlation team for said manga (Read: I am XD) ...but ROOKIES is and always will be my favorite WSJ manga.
Don't get me wrong, I love and read many series from WSJ: PoT, ES21, Double Arts, DN, KHR!, Neuro, DB, etc etc etc...
But ROOKIES is the top of my list. <3
I could go on for hours about how the characters are so real, developing, and lovely, but I won't. Just go read it. Baseball manga tend to piss me off, but I can't stop with this one () because the strategies make sense and the characters have real-life limits.
Gintama. Hands down. It does daily life well without being boring, it does action well without being pretentious, and of course it's freaking hilarious. It's defiantly one of the most original series in jump.
