Yeah, it's the last chapter. Amano-sensei will be working on a new series though, so do look forward to it.

Summary and theories

However, I think the chapters emphasizes more on the development that Tsuna went through in the series. As usual, Tsuna was like: NO DO NOT WANT TO BE BOSSU. Reborn leaves and Tsuna realises that he hasn’t really grown as a person since the beginning since he’s still a loser in school and real life.

When Reborn comes back to Tsuna, he was like: Will you become Primo of the New Vongola instead of Decimo of the Vongola. Actually it’s the same thing what.

Reborn also gathers everyone that Tsuna met to remind him of all the friends and bonds he had made. Tsuna gains more confidence and confirms that he did grow as a person. Reborn keeps the pacifier has a reminder while Tsuna teases him before regretting it.

Chapter ends with Tsuna being really grateful to Reborn, describing him like a wingless angel and the best teacher he ever had.

My WMGs:

I think Tsuna does go on to be Vongola Decimo/New Vongola Primo (Reborn water you doing) mainly due to how Reborn and mafia stuff helped him grow so much as a person. The main theme of KHR! imo is friendship so yeah.

And then Tsuna proceeds to be an awesome pacifist mafia boss (because TYL!Tsuna would obviously happen although different timeline) who manages to bring peace to all the mafia families by defeating all enemies and influencing everyone to get along. This thus destroys the entire mafia concept so Tsuna does destroy the Vongola as he said he would.

This means he never confessed to Sasagawa properly. Not sure how I feel about that.

Oh well.

As I said, they never really announce it before a manga ends. I think they see it as spoilers or something? Anyway, at least next time a big profile series is ending I'll be able to reference this and people will hopefully believe me.

That's really a pitty...
Never expected Reborn to end so soon. I do think that it was a bit of strange to end the series in such a fashion.
Would like to see a propper ending.
And what new progect does Amano have?

well i was actually expecting this before the end of november but i never did expected it will left me this hollow. after 8 long years of reading this manga it feels like a friend is lost. funny actually. but the silver lining in all of this is that now we might get to enjoy another manga by amano sensei if she feels like it. and by not dragging out just for making money she can keep her head high. sayanora reborn and wakaki vongala.

P.S: how long will we have to w8 for her new project i wonder.

I'm pretty sure the "new project" being referred to is just the generic "Please look forward to Sensei's next series!" message at the end, so don't get too excited.

Anyway, now that we know it's over, I'm pretty upset with the lack of closure, and with how the last arc ended. I didn't want it to be that easy. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

I didn't like the ending it felt incomplete and rushed. I think amano could of written a better ending because she definitely has the ability to do so. Oh well, at least the manga isnt getting dragged on. Thank you for reborn! amano-sensei.

Well, after an amazing ride that was undoubtedly a major disappointment. The sudden ending itself was problematic, but instead of a bang the manga ended with barely a fizzle. I think the manga had run its course, but I think it deserved an ending to remember.

At the very least, I can say that I've enjoyed the manga over the last few years. It's been a pleasure, and lots of fun.

the quality dropped for a long time still i'm disappointed with the ending. After 400 chapter and that was the best she came up for the ending lame.... expected much more for the ending.

Well, i've expected the ending to be better, but it still feels strange to see this manga ending.. It's been lots of fun anyway !

Its a pity Amano wont get the chance to finish all 7 (or possibly 8) volume covers of the arcobaleno teams. I guess its 1 of the indications that there are times when she is rushing to finish the previous few arcs when the arcs are nearing its end. I don't find this ending rushed , i can live with her not explaining everything (kaoru's flame , earth flames relationship with the sky flames etc etc ) but i guess it would be nice if she could have finished the story she wanted without rushing. Wish Amano-Sensei all the best for her next work!

It's such a pity it end like this. I wanted to see more of 20 years Lambo, and so many other characters. If only she would give spotlights to them instead of just Tsuna... But it's all over now. I'm hoping for a good special chapter in the ending volume, at least. I'll be buying it.

From the last page, I would have thought there were 2 more chapters surely? If this was the final chapter then that's very disappointing, we got hardly any closure at all
