First Round 30.
So, Auger is fast on a trigger and probably has perfect aim. He can also move quickly. That's pretty much all I've seen him do. So he's one of BB pirates? Big deal. Until I see him do more than just shoot and actually fight someone, Kaku is the man. Tekkai, Geppou, Soru, Rankyaku, Shigan + zoan power boost and insane creativity in battle. They just aren't the same type of fighter. It's like making a boxer fight an MMA fighter.
Maybe if we saw something more. But we didn't. Kaku wins.
I really like Van, but Kaku is boss as hell. Razh gave all the reasoning needed.
The only way I see Auger winning is if him and Kaku had to start their battle 1 kilometer apart. Auger shoots Kaku in the eye while he's trying to get to him and wins like a boss.
But then, what if Kaku uses Soru + Geppou to get to him? Seagulls aren't that fast. Damn. Sorry Auger, I tried...

So a speed battle? Well, as far as BB crew goes I do not know, he gathered them when he just had the yami yami no mi, and at that point some of them might have been even stronger than him. Though if we assume they were weaker at that point, Auger is a good sniper but not good enough to do anything against high ranking government fights, CP9, Vice Admirals and above. We know so little of him, but from what we have seen I would say Kaku wins it.
No, the rest of his crew prior to Impel Down was far weaker than him. He was the only one able to do any damage to Ace in their confrontation. Blackbeard even went to the point of telling his crew to stay out of the way because they were incapable of helping. Kaku should be able to take this one easily.
Hm, maybe Auger will advance "because it was fate" again
(the last time was against Big Mom )
Well, no matter how we look at it in a normal fight Kaku wins by just speedblitzing with Soru and Geppou and then trashing Van Auger with his Shigan. Kaku was damn strong, while Van Auger showed nothing apart from taking down some seegulfs from a far distanse. In a normal fight he doesn't have any chanse against a skilled fighter, especially, when a fighter knows Rokushiki and does it pretty well and also Kaku is a good swordsman, thus it makes it even easier for him to win this fight.
Van Auger shoots bullets that cannot get though iron. Nuff said.
