The Breaker: Fan Art Competition

~Welcome to The Breaker Fan Art Competition 2012!!!~

This is the first ever Fan Art competition for a specific title and suprise suprise it's not a manga! Time for some Manwha to shine! We would like to introduce you all to The Breaker Fan Art Competition. Participants will be asked to create their own variation and cover of the panel below:

Many of you who are fans of the Manwha can recognize this panel and the character illustrated in it. For those of you who are relatively new to the Manwha scene or have never read/heard of The Breaker; you'll find this panel in chapter 63 and the character's name is Chun-Woo Han but better known as Goomoonryong (Nine Arts Dragon).

All MH'ers can participate in this contest! We look forward to seeing the different ways in which each of you tackle this challenge~ We hope you enjoy it and good luck everyone!

If you have any general queries about this competition please ask in the All-Purpose Art Contest Discussion Thread. You can also discuss anything related to this contest in the All Purpose Art thread. Please follow the rules outlined below and remember that this is a thread for submissions only.

Once we have enough fan art submissions, a poll will be set for a week to decide the winner. The eventual first place winner will receive a brand new badge and an exclusive one to one interview (special guest to be confirmed ) that will be posted on MH's front page!

Rules:

-Linearts and/or tracing over said panel are not allowed. We stress: the artwork must be yours. If you created the lineart yourself then you may use it.

- If the submission was done as a collaboration, please state the names of everyone who contributed on the description. Make sure everyone who's involved agrees into taking part of the contest!

- Colouring, sketching and hand drawn covers of the panel are allowed.

- You can submit up to 3 artworks for this contest. Only your most voted entry will be taken in account for the results though - you won't be able to win at 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at once.

Submissions

Every contest entry must be posted in this thread and uploaded to the Breaker Art Contest Gallery, as image sites may delete or take down your artwork. Just click here.

Post a clickable thumbnail of your picture in the thread, like this one:



Pictures posted directly in the thread, without thumbnails, will be deleted. This is to assure that the forum layout stays organized, without oversized pictures breaking the layout. If you need help, just ask one of the Art mods; Bugzee or Farfalla by PM. If they're unavailable please contact a Global Moderator.

Feel free to name your artwork! If it doesn't have a title, we'll refer to it by numbers (in case you submit more than one picture).

Voting will commence once the deadline for submissions is over.

Duration of contest:

Two weeks after the thread is opened: Submissions of all the entries can be made.
The thread will be locked on December 12th 2012 at 21:00 GMT+1 (London) please click here for the time conversion list.
The next day after the submission is closed. Votings will be held for another week.
When votings end: Announcement of the winners will be made!!!
